We had an incredible stay at Ta Savona and Homedes farmhouses in Xaghra, Gozo, between the Christmas and New Year period. Nestled in the peaceful countryside, these farmhouses offered everything we could have asked for.

The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious with fresh and spotless linen that added a touch of luxury. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, making it easy for us to prepare meals. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view overlooking the pool area – truly a sight to wake up to every day!

Parking was a breeze, with convenient spots right outside the door. Julie, the owner was an outstanding host – incredibly responsive and accommodating, meeting all our additional requests without hesitation. The booking and payment process was smooth and hassle-free, which added to the overall convenience.

We would highly recommend these farmhouses to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Gozo.

Excellent service and communication, House was clean, tranquil with beautiful views! Private parking available, thus making it very easy to load and unload luggage. Perfect for a relaxing holiday with both family or friends. Would highly recommend.

We recently held our Wedding reception at Pergola Farmhouses with 50 family and friends attending. 
We rented out 4 villas, 3 of which are adjoining so can be opened up both internally and externally or closed off if required. The villas are set in beautiful surroundings with lovely sea views and a perfect place to hold a wedding. The setting was stunning and couldn't have been more perfect.
The owner Julie was professional and courteous and couldn't have been more helpful. The villas are situated out of the main village however this was not an issue as there is a bus stop at the end of the lane. They are a 20 minute walk to Marsalforn and a 30 minute walk to Xaghra village centre. We would highly recommend these villas for a relaxing, stress free  holiday. Dear Julie (and rest of the team),
We just been to one of your beautiful farmhouses at Marsalforn Road,  Xaghra.......... to be precise 'Ta Debora Farmhouse' and what a wonderful time we had. The place is beautiful, very clean, well equipped with all the necessities like fluffy towels, soft bedsheets, great pillows and good showers / bathrooms. we were really feeling at HOME!! 
The kitchen/dining area is warm and welcoming and also well equipped with all the kitchen needs to prepare a lovely meal (which we did daily). 
The pool area is lovely with stunning views of beautiful Gozo, the pool itself is of a perfect size and very well kept (last year we been to another farmhouse in another area a bit far from Xaghra and the pool was a let down with cloudy water) here at Ta Debora , the pool area was fantastic with very clear pool water....our kids loved it. 
The area itself is lovely, we have nothing to complain about, we really had a great time, the only sad thing was that we had to leave but we agreed that we will be back here NEXT YEAR.

Having waited a bit too long in the year to plan our family getaway to Gozo, we were lucky when my daughter stumbled upon a rare five-night opening at Villa Pergola—an almost impossible find given how this popular destination tends to be fully booked, especially during the warmer months.
The villa itself was a hidden gem, offering a sprawling garden with a large pool, six spacious bedrooms each with its own ensuite, and an additional bathroom for guests. But what no online listing could capture was the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like a true home away from home. With ample room to relax and unwind, it provided the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle.
Tucked away at the end of a quiet lane on the northern edge of Xaghra, Gozo, the villa offered a peaceful retreat surrounded by countryside, yet remained conveniently close to all the amenities one needs—just a quick five-minute drive away. The balance of tranquillity and accessibility made it a standout experience, one that’s highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday.

Stayed at the Homades farmhouse. I would imagine standards are similarly high in them all.
Well kept properties and management a pleasure to deal with - very helpful.
Beds most comfortable ever in Gozo and we visit the island each year.
Minor niggles are tight parking and some of the neighbours not being condiderate with their rubbish and recycling - leaving out bags just attracts the ferral cats!
But this is a wonderful place to stay from a great family run business!

The villa was the perfect venue for our wedding, we had 70 guests (100 capacity) This is a family who run the villa and they are very helpful and friendly - anything needed is taken care of quickly. 
The villa is stunning with a large pool. The garden is huge which was a great setting for our wedding.

There's a built in stage in the garden where the band set up, there was room for kids entertainment, food being served up (bbq) a bar area, outside toilets hidden down steps under the stage which we very clean and an ice cream cart. it was 40 degrees on the wedding day but we were able to create plenty of shade. Our wedding photos look amazing and we're really happy we chose this venue for our big day. 

Outside of the wedding, we were here for a week and had a holiday here in 2022 too. We love it here and so do our kids. It's perfect for large families or to share with friends and their families too. 

We recommend hiring a car for your stay as there's so much to do and see on the island. 

We have family in the states and they come over every 2-3 years and we always stay at pergola as there’s such a large group of us. This time it was my mums 60th and we stayed with her friends. It always feels like we are coming back home. The location is perfect and Julie is so accommodating and she’s always on hand if you need help with anything or any recommendations. We will be returning with the family next time and we cannot wait! Thank you for yet another wonderful stay! 

We had a fabulous holiday at Villa Homedes and would strongly recommend staying there for a really relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.  The villa was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped; the pool area was particularly special and the views were stunning.  Julie from Pergola Farmhouses was always accessible and super-responsive in answering any questions or dealing with any kind of issue - a real pleasure to deal with.  All in all, a lovely villa in a stunning location and a great holiday destination.    

Their services is impeccable.We were in another farmhouse(BellaVista Farmhouses) which are a real crap in every sense.I called Julie and she did whatever she can to help and in one hour we packed and we got in one of their beautiful well maintained farmhouses.Spacious and clean.Top notch properties.Definitely will be back.
