Nice rooms, nice personal, clean rooms. Nice location of hotel! (Everything close). We have breakfast like sweden table and fresh english or continental breakfast. Our stay have just one mistake and it was closed roof top.

Nice hotel in the center of city

Very nice and clean property. We stayed in Lucia's room. I wanted a property that had the feel of Valletta with Modern amenities.  Lucenta Property meets these criteria.  There is street noise until 3:00AM in some rooms.  I was tired enough to sleep through most of the noise. 
The location is fantastic with a delicious pizza restaurant down to the right and a Maltize restaurant up the hill to the left.  The sites are an easy walk.
Dorthy was very responsive to my many emails. She arranged a taxi at the airport  (25.00 EU ) for us which was very nice because the taxi line was long at the airport. 
Great breakfast also.

Best place to la Valletta 

The hotel is located on the floors three and four of a small Cafe/restaurant on the ground floor.

There is around 10 or so rooms in an old house transformed into a tiny hotel. The rooms are small but clean and quite nicely decorated. I was in the fourth floor which has rooms with a window inside the hall (no window outside at all), and it is not so bad as there is glass roof shedding light in.

At least room 42 has moldy and damp smell, so keep window open or A/C on.

Breakfast was OK with the usual sortiments  in a buffet, while they serve English breakfast too. Taste was not causing too much joy but was well edible.

Funny thing is that the check in is at the third floor and only way to get there is a lift that is hidden inside the cafe. Ask for directions at the counter. (There is a staircase accessible from the street and you can use it when you get a key) 

Cozy small hotel

Superb location and wonderful boutique hotel with super amazing staff! The beds are so comfortable with fluffy pillows and crisp, clean white bedding. We also are in the restaurant and we're again Impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, the food and the ambience

We loved the place. Location is amazing! You can not find a better one if you are looking for to saty in the heart of Valletta. Be ready it is noisy outside but to be expected from all the holiday makers:) the hotel is clean. Do not expect 5star but its got a character  an atmosphere. If you are adventurous, relaxed personality, quirky this place is for you. I wld not choose a breakfast deal. You have the best place to have a great breakfast or lunch in Dolceria Croce Bonaci!!! I can not even  begin to describe how amazing this little cafe is. All the locals are there . Its got all the traditional pies, cakes . Prices are not comparable to the other places in the city centre. loved the hotel lived the stay loved Malta!

AMAZING!!!

Contrary to the most recent review, my experience was perfectly satisfactory.  The only thing that didn't quite go right was it was a bit hard to get attention on reception because the staff were occupied in the restaurant.  Not quite a boutique hotel but all the better for it, without the pretensions from those places.  It's a fine old building though, probably some merchant's mansion in the past.

My third-floor room had a good view of the street life below and there was an even better view from the roof terrace, especially in the afternoon when the sun was shining on the Three Cities.  The cathedral bell might disturb some people but for me, only because the quarter-hour chimes didn't follow a pattern that I could follow!

The restaurant downstairs saved me a walk looking for other choices, and was justifiably busy.

Great location, horrible place. There's no reception, you have to find someone in the restaurant to assist you and you wait at the counter without acknowledgement. The elevator is too  close to the kitchen. The room is dark and dingy with poor lighting and NO windows. The keycard lock only worked once out of 10 attempts, so you're locked out of the room. The TV doesn't work and nothing has been done to correct it. The bed is basically a cot. The wardrobe is musty. Exploring using the lift, the 5th floor rooftop is a filthy storage area and the bottom floor opens and you're in the kitchen. There is a strong smell of fry oil present, I could not eat here. I should have left immediately but was too tired to deal with finding another place. I do not recommend staying here.

Excellent experience

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night in August and will stay again. We went over to Gozo the following day and had decided to stay in Valletta for the night as our plane arrived early evening. The hotel is in the heart of Valletta, 10 mins from the lift to the fast ferry and 10 mins from the harbour the other way. It is a lovely boutique hotel, designed in the traditional way, and the room was lovely. It is designed on 2 levels, with a balcony overlooking the square and a spiral staircase to the 2nd floor, which had another bedroom and the bathroom. The staff are friendly  and we had a late meal on the terrace. The food is good and they emailed us the menu before travelling. Breakfast is included in the price, which came as a surprise and you can have full English or continental. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing is that it is opposite a church and the bells chime, but we slept through it. Great value, great service, very good food and atmosphere. Great price and very clean.
