Hibernia Residence & Hostel

PROS: I stayed here for 10D9N, one bed in an 8-female dorm room. Accommodation came with breakfast (unli coffee yey!) Place was very clean and enough blankets were given (went here during spring). Security measures were good. A 10euro deposit was needed for the locker key which was reasonable, they'll give it back once you check out anyway. Staff were very accommodating, especially Samuel. He's really friendly. There were enough showers and toilets (and tissues). Common area was spacious with sofa, tables and a kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge. With our 8-bed dorm room, there was a balcony where you can hang your towel (bring your own towel tho). Hibernia was very easy to find, too. Just look for the blue painted building among all the beige ones. There's a mini market beside it, too. Bus stops are nearby, especially Antik. The nearby bay's lovely. They also have a print, photocopy and scan service at Hibernia for 20cents per page in case you need it. This is my first dorm experience and loved the fact that I got to meet new people from all different parts of the world by staying here. Love the experience! CONS: Wifi was available only at the ground and 6th floor. Breakfast served was repetitive but it was good. No socket in the bathroom area (dorm) for hair dryer. TIPS: Bring your own hair dryer if you need one. Bring your own towels. I came from Italy and they have a different type of socket in Malta, so check it out online and bring adapters with you so you wouldn't have to buy one.
