Very good
1894 reviewsI Loved my stay in this Hotel. I had a fabulous room , it was always spotlessly clean . Very comfy Bed, Tea & Coffee facilities always freshened up , Bottled Water , ( Thank you to the "chambermaid Lena", who went he extra mile) You only had to ask and anything was done . The Reservation staff and reception staff were very helpful and I also found "Themis, the manager "to be unbelievably helpful and " he was so knowledgeable about the Island , My goodness every hotel need a manager like him ! The hotel is in a good location , I walked to different places to eat in the evening and the Bus stop are 5/10 minutes .. You can walk into the Shopping precinct where there are plenty of shops . There were plenty of eateries and Bars and Casinos and night club type places . There is a small beach at the bottom of the hill with some cafes and you can access the shopping centre from there, or you can walk up the hill to the large hotel and have coffee or dinner on the terrace over looking the bay . The hotel breakfast was EXCELLENT , with a lot of choice . The Buffet style dinner was lovely as well . The bar area was cosy and the bar staff were very helpful . I didn't use the Spa Area but went to look, There is a Gym a Pool & jacuzzi, I would have used it is it had opened before breakfast and i you didn't have to book the Sauna . I think if the Spa had an upgrade this Hotel would be a 5 star ! The only missing me was somewhere to site outside . ( BUT i went in March and the Pool and outdoor terrace at the top of the Hotel , with "fabulous views" doesn't open until May i believe). If you are booking m try an get a room with a view at the front. IF you are a first time visitor to Malta , i would recommend the Half Island tours. The red for one half the Blue for the other half of the Island, Valleta ...you really need a couple of visits there there is so much to see . I went by Bus to the North and Caught the Ferry to Gozo . I went to Victoria the capital and did the walled City with all its museums you need a minimum of 2 hours here , if not half a day to see it all and there are a LOT of steps !! There places to eat , inside the walled city so take your time. Plenty to also see in Victoria .. Then if you have time ( I would recommend you get to Gozo as early as you can , You do a bus tour , or you do the Three island Boat trip , There is actually an awful lot to do and see in Malta and Gozo ,i I was astonished at the interesting history of both , so I would definitely Return and see more . Having Stayed at the Vivaldi Hotel in St Julians , I know I made a good Choice ( Not that far from the airport E20 by taxi ) I like a Good Hotel that is Comfortable and clean, with Good Food ,and Great Staff ...To me this hotel fitted all of that and i would recommend it and i will hopefully return .....................THANK YOU
