Our plan was to stay one night in KT Golf Resort and continue our trip the next day to a nearby island. We booked online, based on the recommendations here and on agoda.com. 
We arrived around 5pm at the venue which is very far out of town and kind of in the middle of nowhere. There are no shops, restaurants or anything else around (we expected it that way). 

However, when we arrived, we tried to find a reception to check in to our room but the whole place was almost deserted. After a while we found someone from the staff who handed us the key to our room. We brought our luggage to the room and I returned to ask if we could eat or drink something here. It turned out that the whole place was closed. 

The Golf Club didn't offer any food or drinks. It didn't have a open restaurant. We couldn't play golf as the court was closed as well. Even the remaining staff told us they were gone after 6pm and we were the only guests! Means we were all alone in the middle of nowhere with no supplies at all and no way to even call a taxi to bring us somewhere else.

Agoda didn't tell us anything.
When we asked for a refund to find for another hotel (as this situation was a little scaring to us), the staff argued that it didn't get the money from agoda yet, so they couldn't refund anything.

The rooms were not very nice either.
Not too clean and we found some ants in the bed.

Never again! They are not ready to have guests in this "hotel". It's a golf club, not more!

Make sure you really want that!

Environment is good, quiet calm and peaceful. Green.

Location is good for people waiting flight, less than10 minutes drive to airport. 25 minutes drive to Kuala Terengganu town.

Service is so so. The reason I say this because their receptionist is not working 24 hours. If you want to check out earlier than 7am they will ask you to drop the key at guard-post. No breakfast for you also if you leave early.

Swimming pool is small and I'm pretty sure they didn't service the pool for long long time from the color of water I see.

Room is comfortable, clean, cheap.
