Extraordinarily good host, great dining and the breakfast nothing short of spectacular. 

Highly recommended - the rooms had a really nice feel, were very clean and the location is in the heart of town. 

We thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll stay there again if I get the opportunity.

I could not add anything more to this small, cozy guest house with a jacuzzi in our bathroom, ample selection of non-alcoholic drinks in room and a huge breakfast included in the price (75 EUR, February 2016).

From the outside the hotel is quaint and is a restaurant / wine bar. They have three rooms only, which are very well appointed and clean. The hotel has all the amenities you expect from bigger properties Inc. good wifi and cable TV. The best is yet to come the staff are the best. I have stayed at a lot of major hotels that could learn a lot here. We ate there several time the price was good and the quality great. The breakfasts are special. I hope I will return some day.

My initial reaction wasn't very positive but it turned out to be a great place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. Food in the restaurant was excellent especially breakfast. Staff were lovely and welcoming. We found everywhere in Latvia even the remotest corners has free Wi-Fi. 

We stayed in the room with a shower but it had a sewage problem so we were moved to another room.  The room with the shower had very pilly sheets but the new room with a bath had excellent sheets and no sewage problem and was very comfortable.  We ate all our meals in the restaurant and the woman there was very friendly and helpful and the food was also very good.  When we left the owner Agnes gave us a ride to the bus station and we enjoyed talking with him.  We're sure they will fix the sewage problem in the room with the shower so we recommend this hotel.  If we are ever in Latvia and in Talsi, we will stay here again.
