We stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights.  Our room is on the 2/F which has a full view of Lake Yamanakako.  The hosts are very nice and helpful.  Although we have to share the toilets and bathrooms with other guests, we were lucky to have the whole guesthouse on our own except for the 2nd night. There are many restaurants along the main street which are within walking distance.  This guesthouse is conveniently located with easy access to other parts of the Mt Fuji Lake area.

The hotel has only six rooms. Eight people of our group occupied four of them. It has a sitting room and a common room at the Ground Floor for our gathering. Five of the bedrooms are located upstairs by steps. Cleanliness is ensured by the manager to provide us with slippers at the doorway and inside washrooms. Inside of the rooms are big and each of the room is fitted with a balcony for relaxing along with the great views outside. Although there is not any restaurant inside the hotel, there are many nice place for meal not far away. There are also inexpensive self-service noodles in cups for just 100 yen each in the common room. Coffee and tea are free to enjoy anytime as you wish. Most important of all for foreigners who do not understand Japanese, the Japanese manager is able to speak English. All the Japanese staff are of course gentle, polite and helpful in every aspect during our stay.
