46 reviewsThe property is located 4 blocks from Shizuoka Station, but half of the distance can be covered indoors by walking through the Asty restaurant mall. The hotel has 5 floors of rooms, but only the 4th &5th are non-smoking, so be sure to stipulate that when reserving. The rooms are compact, as would be expected, with prefabricated bath/shower installations, but they are well-appointed with everything you might need, including a small but quiet refrigerator. The breakfast was great, although the food was directed towards the local population, so you might be disappointed if you prefer western food. There was, however, good coffee, bread & jam and runny reconstituted scrambled eggs. There was many kinds of vegetables, however, cooked in traditional style. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well.
