25 reviewsI stayed here for 5 nights around New Years. Some of the other guests got a little loud at night, but a really nice quiet place nonetheless. A bit tricky if you're not traveling by car (it's about a 45 minute walk from the bus terminal) but it also pays to be up in the forested area - lots of gorgeous stars at night. I really enjoyed it but then again I'm not fussy. If you want a door that locks, forget it (but really, you don't need to lock doors in Okinawa). Also the bathroom and shower are in a separate building so if that bothers you, I would say get over it because this place is a great find. The woman that runs it spoke to me only in Japanese (she spoke slower and didn't over complicate it though, good practice for me), but I think that there were some other people who didn't know a lot of Japanese so she might speak some English. I highly recommend and will stay here again the next time I venture to Okinawa.
