Stayed for a night on the mountains. Took about more than an hour from Nagano station by bus, and the owner came to pick me up from the bus stop just with a phone call. About 5 minutes drive from the bus stop. Would be more convenient if you had your own car but all I wanted was to have a quiet time on the mountains. Service was relatively acceptable, they aren't too chatty people. Room was a Japanese style room with a futon but very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were included and there will be an announcement when the food is ready. Owners were quite flexible they arranged for an early breakfast for those who had to go off early the next morning while the rest had breakfast at 730. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. More of like a full course meal and everything was delicious. Recommended for people who wish to have a Japanese experience and with extremely good food!! I went in autumn but I guess this place will be packed during the ski season!
