This is an older hotel built in the early fifties so although it's perfectly fine, it's style is dated. Not really a problem for most I think. They have a GORGEOUS public onsen on the 4th floor with the most AWESOME view of Fuji San you'll ever see. Not only that, this onsen accepts tattoos!!! So thrilled and I felt so comfortable knowing I didn't have to hide my tattoos, my frilly bits, my boobs 😅. One downside is this hotel is a very long 2 hour drive from Shin-Fuji station and you'll almost circumnavigate Fuji to get there. But if you have the time go for it. There's a lake with funny paddle boats to ride and a kebab joint run by an Indian man speaking Urdu, Japanese and English all in the same sentence!. Kebabs are lovely but japan sized still filling, but my brothers would eat two. Try this place if you want quiet walks and beautiful views.
