Have large car park. The room has been recently renovated. It is clean and cozy. It take 15 mins walk to shopping area. Recommend for budget traveler.

My son had booked 2 rooms in this place via AirBnb during our weekend stay in Ishigaki. The 3-floor place is in a good, quiet location and run by a husband and wife team. The rooms are clean, small and consisted of a traditional and a western style. We stayed in a western style room. Towels are changed daily. Street shoes are not allowed inside the building. One refrigerator per floor plus laundry facility on the 2nd floor. Microwave, water, tea, coffee available in the communal dining room. The rooms are small with a small tv. No closet, only a bar with clothes hanger. Our bathtub was not  fixed permanently on the floor and wobbled a bit. A shower curtain was not available. Overall, it’s an ok place to stay.

It’s Ok

We didn't stay at the pension/b&b, but we did book the snorkeling excursion.

The staff were very professional.  There were 2 snorkelers (my wife and I), and 3 divers on our excursion. Jin-san, the man who guided the snorkeling, was very thorough in his explanation of the equipment and its use.  He also had a good sense of humor, and was constantly making jokes.
They took us out to 2 separate locations.  The first place was shallow at about 3m, and the second much deeper at about 12m.  We saw lots of beautiful reef fish such as the parrot fish and clown fish.  At one point we swam alongside a big school of beautiful yellow fish.
A bento box lunch and tea was included.  They also gave us a CD of photos they took of us at the last dive site.
Transportation was provided between the dive shop and the port.
My wife is Japanese, so we didn't request an English-speaking guide, but they told us that they do take foreign customers.

Excellent diving center

This pension located at quite road, around 15 mins walk to Ferry and bus terminal and public market, close to some Ishigaki beef and Chinese restaurant, walking distance to nearby local shops. Pension is a 3 storeyed building run by a family, it seems old but very clean and tidy especially dinning room. Hard for go upstairs if with heavy and big luggage cos building without lift. Twin bedroom with simple facilities,  strong WiFi inside, clothes line and hanging clips are convenient for washing and drying. Single bed size is adequate but old fashioned, Toilet with old  bathtub , not convenient cos too high and leak during shower, cannot self cook in the kitchen but available for sharing fridge and dinning room facilities.

Family run pension

For ladies, you may want to book somewhere else. My tolerance level for budged hotel is relatively high but I can't take it there. For guys, you guys should be fine if you think anywhere will do so long as you can sleep at night. 

Reasons
1) unhelpful uncles. Unhappy faces
2) far away fm anywhere - 10 min walk to the nearest convenience shop
3) 20 min fm ferry terminal 
4) old room- don't feel like staying

Good points:-
1) Three famous Yakiniku restaurants are within 5 mins walk. The advance reservation more than one month is needed according to other review. 
2) Super market , 15 min walk, has variety of fruits around the region. Banana fm the island is really good. Try that.
