This review is coming from a British boy on a backpacking holiday with 2 other guys. When we planned our trip - this was the only place available in our price range and we fancied a capsule experience so we booked it. 
We were not disappointed!
The receptionists did not speak very good English but they tried so hard and were so funny and friendly - a real credit to the hotel.
After locking our shoes away we were given a set of PJs each and headed upto our lockers to get changed and lock our stuff in
There. 
After this we got our trunks and headed to the saunas and pools. Got in and had a
Good time - after a while someone told us we needed to be naked- there was around 3 Japanese guys in there naked but we thought it would be ok to wear trunks - it isn’t so that’s a warning if you don’t feel comfortable been naked with the locals.
We took our trunks off and got back
In - they do provide small green
Towels to hide your bits if required !
After this we enjoyed a traditional Japanese sit down shower then went to our capsules.
They are a lot bigger than you think and very comfy with a little television and shelf to charge your belongings. 
We sat with the locals in the common room and had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both meals were extremely cheap and very very tasty. 
This is a very recommended experience from me - the night stay with 2 delicious meals, drinks and excellent service was under £20. Everything is provided for you , towels , pjs, razor, shaving foam, flannels, shampoo, conditioner , moisturiser all new and good quality. My only negative is that it was too warm in the capsule. That it was a great experience and would definitely do it again over a shared hostel.

Crazy Capsule !

I loved experiencing this place. Not your typical hostel. Stayed for two nights. The front desk was 24 hours and very helpful, although limited English skills, but they were compensated for by online translation tools. I was the only western person I saw at this place during my entire stay.The capsule was also very authentic and definitely not newly built. Analogue TV and analogue radio along with a clock radio was built in to the capsule. Overall very nice.The spa and sauna are free to use. Very nice at this price. You can pay extra to get a massage on the 8th floorProtip: The showers are on the 7th floor. (no Enligsh floor overview)

Very Japanese Spa and Sauna

The place was absolutely fine. I would stay there again no problem.

Great place

Nothing fancy but clean enough and great location.  Amenities are all free.

I booked a trip to Hiroshima back in August, and my trip unintentionally coincided with the anniversary of the bombing. Because of this, every single hostel in and near Hiroshima was booked. I ended up finding availability at the Grand Sauna Hiroshima via Agoda, and I was a bit nervous because there wasn't much information available in English. In the end, it turned out to be a great experience.

The receptionists had a small pamphlet with rules and information in English. We tried to use a translator on my iPhone to translate some questions, and it didn't work very well, but they were so friendly and we figured everything out. A couple things that might seem weird to westerners:

1) You have to check out each morning and check back in each afternoon, as they clean the capsules every day. But they let me keep everything in my locker during this time, so it was fine.
2) There's a traditional sauna on one of the higher floors. Use it! It's a great experience.
3) Many of the people who stay in capsule hotels are businessmen, and you'll find them smoking cigarettes in the common areas. It's a bit gross if you don't like smoke, but it's a small inconvenience to put up with. They don't smoke in the area with the capsules themselves.

Overall, I was pleased with the experience. It was really interesting to stay in a capsule hotel, the receptionists were very friendly, the sauna was great, and it was nice to have my own private sleeping space: it's much nicer than most bunk beds inside of hostels.

Capsule Hotel Experience

The staff were all very friendly. Great location. Reasonable price. Given it is a capsule/business hotel you need to realise what it ia you are paying for. In terms of these type of hotels it was very good.

Convenient and clean capsule/business hotel

Comfortable pods and great spa on upper floors. Location was excellent for night life and closeness to the Peace Park. Canteen served good food and staff were always helpful although hardly any English is spoken. It did not matter to me communication is more than just words

Good capsule hotel

They have a policy of not serving people with tattoos. This should be mentioned on the site.

Close to a streetcar stop. Stayed for one night. Generally good.

Whilst the hotel is convenient to transport ( sort of ) the staff cannot speak any english at all , and so if you have no japanese or your translator is not accurate you are lost , also none of the signs are in english , it took me 2 days to work out where the bath and showers were . Fortunately there was a toilet on each floor , I was so frustrated with the staff that I left for Osaka a day early and did not even bother about requesting a refund for the lost day as it would have not sunk in anyway .
