TONAGI Hostel & Cafe

Having first solo trip is kinda hard because there is no friends, luckily I've found another sanctuary in kyushu named Tonagi Hostel.
Even sometimes I make a lot of request Yuta always provide me a 5 Star hotel service, also the Manager Haruka is very friendly to me and provide any information I need during my trip. Even for a Hostel class, they provide something that a 5 Star hotel cannot provide. I really hope that I can back to this place again someday. Love the Hot Chocolate anyway

Although the location is not in the city center, the hostel is just 3 min walk from Chiyo-kenchoguchi subway station. The hostel is clean, but no locker and breakfast provided. Since i only got small luggage, it fits in the  space at the edge of the bed.
This can be a very good option when staying in Fukuoka, if you cannot find a place in the city center

This hostel is cheap and confy. With Japanese style mattress and blanket you will feel the atmosphere of Japan culture. There is also safety box and wifi. One thing, you need to go through stairs to the bedroom. It is quite hard if you bring heavy luggage. Just in case.

Honestly the customer service was top notch, the night manager helped me with locating my misplaced cell phone and had it sent to me at my next location. 

But honestly I wouldn’t stay here again.

I booked myself into a female dorm, and unfortunately as it turned out it was a unisex sleeping arrangement. 

The bed itself was very comfortable and I slept well and loved the safe box at the end of the bed.

I also didn’t mind the laundry facilities and kitchen because I could cook some food to save money.

The big issue is that there’s three flights of stairs, up a rickety old staircase that someone could easily slip down and hurt themselves. 

There’s no elevator so for those with wheelie bags or limited mobility, I’d definitely look elsewhere for accommodation.
