Hotel Route-Inn Fujieda Ekikita

We stayed here for 3 weeks in March/April 2019 while visiting family. We’d booked a double room and yes, as a review below states, it was very small. We had two big suitcases and felt it was just too small for a 3 week stay. However the staff were incredibly helpful and we moved to a twin (obviously at extra cost) which was much more spacious. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the same room for the whole 3 weeks as all the twins were booked over the weekends, but the staff were really helpful and we just had to move up and down the same floor to different rooms a few times. They made sure our next room was always ready before we had to vacate the one we were in. And it was our fault for getting it wrong in the first place. Staff didn’t speak much English but they did try and their English was better than our Japanese. The breakfast buffet was excellent. However as this hotel is mostly used by business people, breakfast finished at 9, a bit early when you’re on holiday. There was a coin operated washer and dryer and all the usual vending machines. There was also a free bean to cup coffee machine in the reception area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
