The host is great. The beds are clean, and everyone was super friendly. The hostel is right next to a good supermarket and great restaurants and pizzerias. I’ve stayed in Rome before, so this was def the best hostel. I’d def return. Really good kitchen!

Very friendly, flexible, and affordable.

So all in all I had a good experience during my stay. However, the only problem was their  shady cash transaction. They didn't accept a credit card and insisted that I pay in cash (which costed me more forex). Secondly , they just gave me a pay slip for a different date, and did not even bother giving me a proper invoice. It maybe a decent place but not very professional in terms of their management. Don't book if you're travelling on business.

The place was moist and smelled like mould. The host came in to our room of all girls several times in the night to talk or ask questions, using his key card. Very uncomfortable. Came in when we were sleeping, in pjs, and when we had showered. Even poked a girl who was sleeping. Would not recommend.

Uncomfortable host

This must be one of the worst hostels I've ever been.Also, there was an issue with my booking (I let you guys judge who's right or wrong). Details at the end (long story).Pros: friendly staff (except the manager), good location (next to metro, and supermarket), and in the quiet neighbourhood.Cons: shower: doesn't work and broken. I stayed in two rooms and both have some issues. Noisy: the manager kept checking people in after midnight, in and out of the room several times. Room: no ladder for the 8-bed mixed room; they provided one chair for me to climb up (a chair is not high enough and very slippery).Issue:Both hostelworld and hotels had the same price for 6 bed mixed dorm, and I booked through hotels for point accumulation for 3 nights. When I checked in, they didn't have my reservation, so the male reception (very apologetic) moved me to 8 bed temporarily, and said would moved me the next day. No availability next day. But, on my last night, the female reception said I could now moved to 6 bed one. I said it's unfair as I paid 6-bed from beginning, and there is no point of moving on my last night, and I asked to be refunded for the difference.The manager came and said my booking didn't specify how many beds (yup, this is hotels.com fault), and said it's my fault not booking through hostelworld. So, my argument is so the hostel can put you to another room regardless of how much you paid, and not on the equivalent value of

The bedrooms are right next to the kitchen, very poorly insulated and the staff and customers make a mess all night. There is very little hot water in the showers and finally: a client complained to me because one of the members of the reception frightened her, yelled at her or even spied on her. I do not recommend this hostel at all, uncomfortable for such a high price and so disrespectful of its customers.

Inconfortable and sexist

Good price, good location (metro station is 2 min walking, Colosseum is 5 stops away), friendly staff, working WiFi.  Not very comfortable bed, but for 2 nights was ok. Shower was quite decent. Good for short stay.

Average hostel

Good price, relatively clean, very cheap for Rome. They have a kitchen area where you can make things. The location is close to the metro and has a few night food options. What more is there to say? basically this is a flophouse to pass the night, then get up int he day to do your work. One thing to note, there is basically no area for working or using your computer. No lobby to speak of.

I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could: Not bad, not amazing, better than some.

This hostel is located about 3’ walk from the Bologna metro station. There is a supermarket about 3’ away from the hostel so it’s very convenient. The reception opens 24 hours and after 10:30pm, they ask the people in the common area to quiet down so it’s quiet at night. The staff is efficient. We booked a 10 beds dorm but was upgraded to 6 beds dorm. There are no ladder to the top bunk so I don’t get the logic behind this. The room smelled moldy but the bathroom are new. The bed wasn’t the best bed I ever slept on but got me through the night. Pillows were quite flat. I left my earphones on the bed and when I came back and night, they were gone. I told the reception the next day when I checked out since I found out about it when we came back late at night and he didn’t say or do anything about it. To store your luggage is €3 and 3 of us, we have to pay €9. This is probably the most expensive luggage storage I’ve ever paid. If I come back to Rome, probably look to try some other place.

It’s a great place, we made loads of friends over there, it’s quite good to do some friends to explore the city with.

Is a bit far from the main attractions by foot but there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hostel so you isn’t difficult to move through the city.

The rooms are big and bedrooms in general works. Nothing fancy just like it expected to be.

The guy from reception during the night he’s just useless but is not rude at least.

Good place!

Was only here for a night, wasn't the worst stay. The hostel is conveniently located near the metro so easy to get around to places. There was a big rat in the common area as the hostels surroundings are pretty dirty. Would recommend for short stay however.
