Hotel Arcangelo

We booked this hotel last-minute, and the price was very pleasant - with a big discount! The room was wonderful: designed for three people, so for the two of us, there was more than enough space. It had a bathtub, a minibar, and extra blankets - everything we needed. All staff were extremely polite and always ready to help - the highest level of service! The breakfasts were also very good, served in a beautiful basement hall with an antique bar (see the photo). The location is simply unbeatable - just an 8-minute walk to the Vatican and about the same distance to Castel Sant'Angelo. The neighborhood is lovely, and the view from the window was also nice (photo attached). We even extended our stay for two more nights and moved to another room. The hotel gave us another last-minute booking discount (it was the last available room), which was a nice touch. The only minor downside was that in the new room (for two people), there was a slight knocking sound when the lights were turned on - the lamps seemed to affect the wooden fixtures, creating a bit of noise. Overall, I’d rate this hotel 5/5 - we really loved it and would happily stay here again!
