What a beautiful place. We were invited as long lost friends and got the most welcoming reception thinkable. The language barrier quickly overthrown as the hosts were so friendly and hospitable and eager to help.
Manila and Luciano own and operate this wonderful venue amidst the fields on the green slopes of Sirolo. Our room was in the middle of a sea of roses and jasmine. The whole garden smelled like heaven.
Both Sirolo's  and Numana's  night center were reachable by foot (max 10 min)  where we had wonderful meals in several of the finest restaurants available.

We were supposed to spent 2 nights at Il Borgo Rosso, but decided to stay longer, since it was so wonderful. We had our 2 year old daughter and our pet parrot with us, and they were very attentive and accomodating to us all! We had a large, very clean room with 3 beds and a balcony. We ate lunch and dinner there almost every day, and the food was truly amazing. So were the grounds surrounding the house, with lush, green lawns, flowers, trees and friendly animals; chickens, a horse, a donkey, a little pot belly pig, happy sheep and the cutest little dog. Not to mention that the hosts are very nice and welcoming! 
We will surely come back next time and stay longer. The location is also very convenient, just minutes for Sirolo and Numana and the beaches. 

Borgo Rosso Country House is located nicely in a green and quiet area and has a beautiful garden with old olive trees, fig trees and flowers. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast is very good with freshly baked cakes and bread and it was wonderful to sit in the garden under breakfast.

Borgo Rosso Country House is only 5 minutes walk from Numana center and 15 minutes walk from Sirolo. It takes only 10 minutes walk to Numana beach. And in both Numana and Sirolo, there are good restaurants and cafes.

For to come to Borgo Rosso Country House you can take the bus from Ancona to get to Numana. Borgo Rosso is located only 5 minutes walk from the bus stop.

Except the nice room, the wonderful garden, the green area, it is Manila and her family that made our holiday one of the best holiday ever. Manila is incredibly nice and helpful, took very well care of us and made our visit special. She gave us many tips for good restaurants and cafes. And we are really happy to got to know her! 

Our week in Borgo Rosso Country House and Numana/Sirolo was the italian experience we were looking for.

We stayed for just one night in this excellent B&B and really enjoyed everything about the property. The setting is peaceful, down a little country lane but still we were able to walk into the wonderful little town of Sirolo in about 20 minutes. The accommodation is excellent. Rooms are new and very nicely furnished and the breakfast room is terrific with food to match. Best of all - the great hospitality of Manila made the visit special. Manila was so friendly and helpful and looked after us like family. In short, a great place to stay. Highly recommended

We had a delightful 4 night stay with the family (no kids). Two rooms, both clean and tidy. Good location and amazing staff! The owner gave us a lot of info, helped to book tables at restaurants and were helpful allround. Breakfast is good, not huge, but enough.

We came at the end of the season, so the pool seemed closed. Not sure if this was intended or not, but made no difference to us as we didnt require one.

What we'll remember most of this charming venue, right outside Sirolo and a few kilometers from Numana is the amazing and complete quietnes of the surroundings. Not easy to find in a touristic area during busy season.
The rooms are basic, clean. We were two friends and were given a room with a queen-size bed and a little single bed in a corner. We were told that to use the single bed we should have paid extra money, even though we were only two. So we opted to share the queen bed instead.
The breakfast is richiesta, with fresh fruits from the property's trees and home made cakes.
The house is easier reached if you have a car, being on a country road, but the bus stop is not too far. 

Manila and her husband, the owners, friendly and helpful.
Their daughter, Chiara, runs a b&b in Numana, should you wish being closer to the beach.

The (precious) Sound of Silence

A good location, good accommodation, breakfast fine....would rate average/good....just we got feeling that the owners have guests out of necessity and not the desire to have visitors at their accommodation... This we felt when we came back early one day  from nearby excellent beach due to cloudy weather and the owner family were all at  benches in shade and we had to be quiet for a baby...all understandable but guests should come first. Maybe they're recently doing this, so feel free to go there and make your own judgement.
