Residenza Pizzofalcone

We could not have been happier with our stay. The location near Via Chiaia and the Piazza Plebiscito placed us within easy walking distance of the metro, the Royal Palace, the ferryboat harbor, the Spanish Quarter and even the historic center of Naples. Residenza Pizzofalcone is in a residential Neapolitan neighborhood. When we arrived we were surprised by the narrow streets, the traffic and the entrance to our building – a small door, set within a large set of doors that opened into an open courtyard. The apartment on Floor 1 was up a set of wide stairs. We quickly settled in to our new home and neighborhood. We enjoyed the luxury of shopping at the many small friendly neighborhood stores just steps from our front door. We also experienced street repair – one morning we woke up to a dug-up street in front of the apartment, which was put back together on the same day at 10 pm (impressive). Foot traffic was kept open, but mopeds and cars could not get through. Our hosts were welcoming and extremely helpful. They were on site almost every day. Their hospitality added to our enjoyment of Naples. The flat was kept spotless by daily cleaning (except on Sundays). Our apartment was spacious with a high ceiling, tall windows with antique shutters, a comfortable living room and a loft for sleeping. Kitchenette is small but sufficient and we typically ate at least 2 meals per day in. The WiFi/internet was good, which was important for us, we needed to work remotely. We were dependent on the WIFI both for computer and phone connections.
