Casaforte Villa & Resort

We spent 10 nights at Villa Casaforte in the Ginestra apartment we were two couples sharing. The accommodation and setting is spectacular – the renovation and furnishing of this beautiful building has been accomplished to a very high standard of quality, tradition (including ironwork by a local-artisan) and comfort. The apartment was very spacious for four adults, we were very comfortable and it was a great bonus to have air conditioning. The pool is beautiful and a good size to allow for a proper swim. There are fabulous views from the house and it is well located for trips to Arezzo, Siena and Montepulciano. Our days spent at the property were peaceful and relaxing. There is an enormous Coop in Monrevarci with a superb selection of food we also visited the local Farmers Market - the Mercato Copeto (Mon – Sat) where we found delicious local produce. Lucia, who takes care of the guests and lives on site could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Although Lucia does not speak much English she communicates very efficiently using a combination of Google Translate and Whatsapp – this works exceptionally well. We have visited Italy many times, but this was a first visit for one in our group and we couldn’t have chosen better for that experience.
