Just returned from a week long stay here, and overall sentiment is that it was a great place and we were very happy! Pros - Very well thought out plan for kids - with the pool area being the ultimate treat, but obviously the dry slope, valo jump (trampolining), footie pitch, and kidsclub being very welcome additions - Food (see below points) was generally good, and included some very very good dishes that stood out during the week - Adult sauna area was brilliant - just brilliant, I looked forward to this everyday as it was something I've not done before, and it never felt busy. Finnish saunas are amazing! - Receptions, kidsclub, waiter/waitresses, chefs - all fantastic, helpful, smiley and friendly!! - Loved the mid afternoon Cake and Bake - never seen this before, and it was a welcome treat to fill the afternoon! - Communal areas great/cute and very good for families. Evening entertainment, swing chairs, hammocks, quiet areas around the pool, really comfy/snazzy day beds for kids to chill in - all really great!! loved it.... - Gym was great - good equipment, quiet, and clean - Overall feel of the hotel brilliant - obviosuly alot of thought gone into the experience, and alot of money redeveloping and adding extra bits - this didnt go unnoticed by us! - We stayed a week and generally the hotel felt quiet - especially surprised whilst there were busier times of day in the restaurant, and in the pool - you quickly notice when the quieter spots were and we stuck to those - in most cases we had zero queue on the red slide, and only a 1 min wait on the large slide in the pool I wont call these "cons" - but maybe some points for the hotel and/or for other travellers in our situation (young kids both under 9) to consider: - My son did unfortunately fall in the pool area on the 1st day - even whilst walking. The team there were brilliant, an ambulance was called, he was taken and given a staple in his head - he still had an amazing time despite being advised no swimming for 7 of the 8 days we were there - just be aware the stone tiling and raised areas do have very sharp edges to them. I did see staff wiping the areas down to keep dry as best as they could do - Whilst some of the dishes really were a treat - we found the logistics a little odd. As it was somewhat of an in-between of a buffet and proper restaurant - sometimes you were left waiting to order a drink, and sometimes as food had to be plated to you - queues for eggs in the morning were quite long. We also found the coffee whilst nice tasting - to be so mixed in terms of temperature. We changed to order americano emphasising hot milk, but still around half of the coffees were luke warm/almost room temperature - There wasn't a great deal of variety for vegetarians or kids - mostlly just pasta unless your kids are quite adventurous - again small points - our kids did eat well and did enjoy the food - Maybe as it was Easter there were more inside craft activities - such as lantern decorating, easter bread. Whislt these were great, perhaps hoped there would be a few more outdoor activitites given the amount of amazing things onsite and nearby at their disposal (e.g. on their social media I saw a trip to a nearby farm to see the animals - shame not to have done something like this) - Valo jump was fantastic - but as alot of the play areas aren't stationed by staff, and alot of older kids were allowed to roam the resort - quite hard to get a turn on some of the activities. Teen area was another example - we woke up at 830 to use the xbox one morning - the rest of the time it had 5-6 kids on it every single time we went past which is quite intimidating for non german/itlalian speaking children to navigate. Not saying its wrong - just worth noting. - Our room was 1 floor above the restaurant - it could be noisy with alot of furniture moving to clear dinner and set up breakfast - I didnt notice, but my wife being a lighter sleeper did - Rooms were great and well done - but the pillows were not great I must say - We were told in emails with reception months before arrival about possibility to use local transport etc...seems this wasnt the case and I should have made more enquiries. In the end only the cable car could be used which we didnt need given it was the end of the season. So hikes, recommended destinations (waterfall, Fundres), and even some family excrusions (lama trekking) you needed a car for - this would be good to recommend to people enquiring about making their way outside of the hotel. Having said that, we did do 2 hikes while there just out the back of the hotel on foot and up into the forest/trees and it was beautiful. If we were to go again - we'd rent a car (not get the hotel transfer from Innsbruck airport) - One from my wife - but worth noting the rooms dont have conditioner - again we should have enquired, but there was a small shop round the corner we went to, to pick some up Overall, the list of points to consider did not take away from our week. We hoped to get a new experience in a region/country we've not seen before, and experience a more "luxury" feel to a full board/all inclusive kids hotel. I spent alot of time comparing and contrasting this place with the likes of Sonnwies, Feuerstein etc - and we definitely got what we expected and hoped for I would be happy to recommend this place, and we'll leave with great memories!!! Infact my son this afternoon was just asking when we will be going back! Thanks so much
