Pension Bergheim

Pension Bergheim is located a short drive (approximately 1 km) above the small village of Prags in the Italian Dolomiti. This family-run B&B has unsurpassed views across the valley below to the spectacular peaks of the Dolomiti. As we expected to be exploring and walking for the extent of our three day visit, the modest size room was adequate for our needs and very clean. Lacking a lounge, Pension Bergheim might not have been as pleasant had the weather turned rainy. The en-suite bathroom was small as you might expect in a converted family home but adequate. A generous breakfast of wonderful breads, rolls, meat, cheese and best of all, home-made jams is provided. Restaurants in nearby Prags offer a fine range of typical local food. We liked and can recommend the three local restaurants where we ate evening meals The very best part of the Pension Bergheim experience was the friendliness of the family Putzer who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.
