Hotel Villa Cerelis

This is a lovely villa refurbished as a hotel, in a vacation beach spot. It is located a bit higher in the village, so it means you need a car. On the plus side it is quieter, and it has a lovely garden. Parking is easy (we went in July). The staff is kind and nice, very familiy-like. The room was clean, big and we chose sea views, which I recommend because there is a small balcony. We had dinner there at night, and the breeze helped with the heat. We had half board and dining at the hotel was a good solution after visiting the town. There is air conditioning although it is a bit tired, but you're not travelling there to spend time in the room. The bathroom has been recently refurbished but it is not modern. I would recommend bringing/buying your own shampoo, etc. Hair dryer was a bit slow, but again it was so hot you're probably not going to use it. I was attending an event and needed to use it. Breakfast had not salty options, to our knowledge. All in all, this would not prevent me from staying here, if I visit Calabria again.
