We had a wonderful 7-night stay at this villa! The location was superb, with convenient steps leading directly to the breathtaking beach. The water was crystal clear, perfect for a refreshing swim. The charm of lemon trees surrounding the villa added a delightful touch to our surroundings.

The villa's amenities were fantastic, especially the outdoor swimming pool that offered a mesmerizing view of the sea. The fully air-conditioned rooms provided comfort, and the well-equipped kitchen came in handy for those times we wanted to cook. Just a short drive away, Aspra boasted a variety of restaurants and dessert shops, offering a delectable culinary experience.

To explore nearby areas like Palermo and other attractions, having a car is recommended. We're grateful for the warm hospitality of the owners, Francesco and Sonia Argento. They were outstanding hosts, providing valuable information about the villa and the surrounding areas, including local grocery shops and recommended eateries. Their continuous check-ins to ensure our comfort truly made us feel at home. Overall, our stay here was a delightful experience that we'll cherish.

Superb beachfront villa!

Villa Argento is truly a special place to relax, enjoy the sea, and experience all the things that make Sicily so wonderful.

My wife and I stayed here with the children in 2019; in 2023 we returned, just us two, for a few days at the end of a tour of the island.

Our room "Gelsomino" was nicely fixed up with an updated kitchen and bathroom.  It was cool, comfortable, and quiet.  The terrace outside the door made for a wonderful spot to enjoy morning coffee and look out onto the sea.  The views are tremendous.

A walkway at the back of the property leads to the water.  It was too chilly to swim in May, but the trek down to the sea will clear your mind and provide many stunning photo opportunities for your Instagram feed. 

Villa Argento is a wonderful spot to enjoy this part of Sicily.  It is just a ten minute drive to Aspra, a charming seaside fishing village.  We stopped to watch "i pescatori" clean and display their catch each morning as we headed to the Lorenzini Cafe for cappuccini and cornetti.  Our meal of fresh fish at Gallo d'Oro was also excellent.

The Bagheria train station is nearby, and the service to Palermo is frequent and easy - all the signage and announcements at the station are in Italian and English.  The regional train makes about 4 stops between Bagheria and Palermo, and the entire trip takes about 18 minutes.

The owners, Francesco and Sonia, are two of the most charming people you will ever meet, available to answer questions and resolve any concerns.

My 2019 review noted the problem with littering on the roads of Bagheria.  We were very pleased to see the City is making a concerted effort to address this; Bagheria was much cleaner on this visit.

A wonderful stay at Villa Argento

The place is wonderfully situated on a small cliff above a spectacular beach with a private staircase to reach it. Rooms were basic, but very clean and nice. Pool was also nice extra. Finally Francesco is a wonderful active host. I would visit again!

My family stayed at Villa Argento for three nights and truly enjoyed our visit.

Our three bedroom apartment was furnished simply but comfortably.  AC and WiFi worked well.  No problems with electricity or availability of hot water.  The property is securely gated and quiet at night.

The grounds are lovely with orange, lemon, and olive trees in abundance. There are multiple spots to sit in the shade. The pool is outstanding, with a fantastic view out to the sea.  Super relaxing. A large olive tree provides shade from the intense sun.

Access to the beach is down a rocky path; the water is clean and blue.

The host Francesco is kind, helpful, and accommodating.  He suggested a restaurant - Can Caus - which we enjoyed so much, we ate there twice.  We truly enjoyed the hospitality of all the Sicilians we encountered.

The villa is just a few minutes' drive from Aspra which has several cafes and restaurants.  I highly recommend the excellent and affordable pastries at Lorenzini Cafe.  It's a 10 minute drive to the Bagheria FS train station; we took a local train to Palermo Centrale (18 minutes) and the express returned us to Bagheria in 11 minutes!

The only issue that impacted our enjoyment is outside of the control of the Villa;  the local roads are lined with "rifiuti" - bags of garbage - which seriously detracts from the beauty of this place.  The Comune of Bagheria and Provincia di Palermo must work harder to address this issue.

A wonderful spot to decompress and enjoy nature

We spent a lovely week at villa Argento this summer. The pool with its views to the sea was beautiful.  We also enjoyed snorkelling from the little beach we could get to from the holiday apartments.  
Our hosts, Francesco, Sonia and their children were very welcoming and they gave us lemons and grapes from their orchard.
It was a very relaxing place to stay and also a good base for trips to Palermo and Cefalu.  Highly recommended!

A wonderful place to relax

This place feels just like being home. First go all, Francesco and Sonia are the most lovely hosts I have ever met and the location is breath talking. Based directly in front of the mediterranean sea with private access to the beach, it's an ideal place to spend your holidays. In my case I hosted a retreat at Villa Argento with Yoga, Thai Massage, Qi Gong and Meditation. They have a rood top were you can overlook the sea which is just awesome for a Yoga practice. My guests were coming all over the world and felt very comfortable. The complex counts with a brand new swimming pool, which you overlook the sea and the mountains. Especially magical to enjoy the sun set from the swimming pool and having the smell of the beautiful lemon trees in your nose. I would highly recommend this place to everybody who wants to experience Sicily in a pure and authentic way!

A paradise close to Palermo

Very nice place near Palermo (only 20 min. by car) with a amazing view from the pool and the room/terasse. There is also a small beach nearby - Spiaggia dei Francesi. The host is very friendly and helpful 24/7. It er very quite and family friendly place.
