7 reviewsWe had a great stay at Sandro Pertini. The cafe bar downstairs is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and large with a lot of light and the bathrooms modern with tasteful tile and finishes. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was a great place watch Acri do its thing, very quiet at night. Check in was easy with the teenage daughter along to help with translation. But really what makes this place exceptional is the staff. The owner Alessandro went so far out of his way to help us track down ancestors from Acri. He did that very Italian thing - he called a cousin - who had some connection to the family we were searching. Antonio spent half a day driving us to city hall and the library where the librarians pulled out ancient birth records for us. We felt so welcomed. Acri was a surprise. The museum of contemporary art is a hidden jewel. We found a great apperitivo bar and gorgeous pizza restaurant. The cafe bar in the BnB is popular with great coffee and drinks and a really nice bartender barista.
