Daly's B&B

I probably expect a little different from most people, as I can sleep just about anywhere if I have to, as long as I’m not sitting straight up (unless I’m driving). The rooms felt and looked clean, sheets were in good condition, I didn’t feel like I was in a hotel. The views were lovely and to what I felt comfortable leaving my window open to, at least in my particular room. Love a good sunrise wake up. 5 minute walk to McGan’s pub which, while I didn’t get to try the food, I heard was excellent. The bartender was a lovely fellow, I believe his name was Sean but I’m awful with names. A little further to the other pubs. 15 minute walk to the pier which is amazing at night with the waves crashing on the shore and not a soul around. 15 minute walk to the Doolin hotel which is the bus stop. I enjoy walking. We got a 15~ euro taxi to the Cliffs of Moher and hiked along the cliffs. Amazing. 20~ euro taxi to the cave of doolin. Wonderful. The tour guide is a great time. Highly recommended. Breakfast was wonderful. But most importantly Susan was completely lovely. She didn’t let you feel like a stranger which made it so nice to stay there. Ireland is a magical place and the people are incomparable in my travels so far. Makes it a nice environment with the other guests too, everyone feels acquainted because Susan knows everyone’s name. She even picked us up from the bus stop because we got in late! Take in to account your own preferences for location, but it’s a great place to stay and a wonderful atmosphere. I would probably recommend renting a car for Doolin in hindsight. There’s far more to see than meets the eye for a town so small!
