Great location, real close to downtown. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Paul had good tips on things to see and do, plus he is pretty good at drawing maps to get around.

We didn't expect much from our time in Kenmare. It was supposed to be a place to stay before our adventure to the Ring of Kerry, but boy were we pleased with our stay at the Willow Lodge.
Paul greeted us when we arrived and directed us to our room and went over the specifics of the room and bath. He described the small town of Kenmare and explained where we might enjoy eating that evening. One of his recommendations was The Coachman and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and especially the Irish entertainment. It was an easy walk to town.
Back to the Lodge for a good night's sleep. The room was so clean and beds so comfortable. We slept very well.
The next morning we met Gretta at our breakfast. She had injured her leg, but still made a wonderful breakfast for us.
Paul told us to enjoy the Ring of Kerry because we were hitting it before the crowds which come later in the year.
Rick Steves almost never steers you wrong and that would be the case a the Willow Lodge.

We stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay for more. The owner Paul, was charming and very informative about the local area. Our room was lovely, very clean, quiet and had an en suite bathroom and TV. We had a fantastic Irish breakfast and were made to feel really welcome. There is plenty of parking and you really are only two  minutes from the centre of Kenmare. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay.

Another Rick Steve’s score.  Great place, our room had a bathtub!  After hiking the Gap of Dunloe and an incredible but cold lake crossing, it was marvelous! Easy walking distance to town and food and a less hectic entrance to the Ring of Kerry!

loved the location of this B&B...5 minute walk to center of town.  Host very Friendly and helpful.  Room comfortable and spacious!  Be Aware!  This is cash only!  We did not know this...and had three rooms booked for three nights.  Quick scramble for Cash!!

This was a lovely family home that was a 5 minute walk from the center of town.  It was a quiet location.  Friendly and unique hosts, who cook a fabulous breakfast.  They do what they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome.  The free parking is nice and there is plenty of room for all cars.
