3 nights as our final stop and base to explore nearby west coast and sites.  Excellent hosts and best breakfast by far.  Rooms well kept and supplied.  Quiet and comfortable.  We highly recommend to anyone who needs a base to take day trips.  Convenient by bus to airport and Dublin City and by train to Howth and other west coast cities.

Brilliantly located within walking distance of Swords, the bus stops and few bars. This accommodation is immaculate, so tidy, clean and peaceful, perfect to totally unwind after a day walking around. Plenty of room in the bedroom, with all the normal amenities, tea, coffee, tv, wardrobe, etc. Bathroom with shower. Everything is of high quality, and once in, you are instantly relaxed. 
I cannot speak highly enough of the breakfast, more than you can imagine on offer! Starting with fruit, juice and yogurt, followed by many choices. (although i still manage to never find anything, and i was still accommodated for).
BUT none of this would be important if it wasn't for the truly wonderful hosts, they are so super friendly and informative. We were assisted with bus numbers to get, and suggestions of places to go (which we did). They really couldn't do enough for us.
If you are looking for a lovely place to stay, with excellent hosts and peace & quiet, this is where you want to be! I cannot recommend it enough, and i hope they will have vacancies next time we are in Swords.

We stayed here for 3 days at the end of our month-long visit to Ireland and it was the ideal B&B from which to end our holiday.....and the hostess Bernadette has to be the nicest lady in the whole of Ireland!
She was so incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful and everything about this B&B is so well appointed and thoughtful. 
Our room was bright, spacious, clean, and comfortable....as was the ensuite. 
Andrew served an incredible breakfast which was varied and delicious -- and everything about it felt like we were being served in a fine dining establishment.
Abbeyglen Cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area, the Boyne Valley and Dublin, as well as getting to the airport. Although we didn't have a chance to try it out, Bernadette mentioned that there is a nearby express bus into Dublin which gets you there as fast as the Dart would. 
This B&B is located on a busy street however the traffic noise is minimal and was only even noticeable during rush hour - but we didn't find it disruptive at all despite my spouse being a very light sleeper and our room being at the front of the cottage. 
The whole B&B is tastefully decorated with well maintained rooms and was an absolute delight to stay at. 
We look forward to returning here one day.

Just WOW.  That’s the easiest way to sum up my experience and stay at Abbeyglen Cottage.  Bernadette and Andrew are just about the nicest people on the planet and so very welcoming and courteous.  They truly made the stay feel like “a home away from home” and their overall approach to how the rooms and amenities are set up truly show they put in efforts to realize what people want in their stay.   

The breakfast in the morning was absolutely plentiful and fantastic with Andrew’s service making it feel like you are staying at a 5* resort.  In fact, if I could pick up Abbeyglen Cottage and take it with me everywhere I travel, that would be a dream come true.  It was truly that perfect. 

The location of the B&B is a short walk from the main Swords area which contains many pubs and restaurants and just a short drive to Dublin Airport.  The rooms are well maintained, updated, and modern and Bernadette went out of her way to ensure we, as guests, knew every bit of information relating to wi-fi, extended cable television offerings, breakfast choices, restaurant recommendations, etc.  

This is what every B&B should look up to and try to be.  I cannot recommend it enough.  Truly superb.

A short walk to Swords Main Street. The Swords Express bus runs to Dublin City and back if you don't want to drive..Close to Dublin Airport but no noise intrusion.

Another lovely stay with Bern. & Andrew.... stayed on 2 occasions this trip and always the same; consistent quality in the offering...the room, the breakfast, the smiles!!! Hard to ask for more. In addition, it is only 5 minutes to both the airprot and car rental retun locations making it ideal for the early morning traveller.... so once again, thanks, B & A.

Our stay was the latter part of May 2019 where we had nice cool Spring weather.  No wonder Abbeyglen and hosts Bernadette and Andrew get such stellar reviews.  Totally deserving of every star indeed.

It’s the perfect accommodation for those who wish to be close to the Dublin airport (We paid Euros 12 for the taxi), close to great pub food (The Old Schoolhouse Pub is HIGHLY recommended - see separate review).  No problem getting them to book a taxi for our trip back to the airport.  Do try not to miss the wonderful breakfasts in their lovely dining room.

Very cozy bedrooms and comfortable beds/pillows.  Water pressure and hot water is very good and the bathroom is spacious enough to move around.  Body lotion, shampoo and body soap are provided. There is a shower head without the “telephone shower” cord, so ladies may wish to bring their shower cap and other toiletries.

 The spotless rooms are perfect nice for a couple or a single person - with tea and very good coffee, a bottle of drinking water provided.  Very comfortable and great for resting.  The whole place is so well maintained and tastefully decorated. 

Bernadette and Andrew are the perfect hosts and truly B&B par excellence in hospitality.  Going out of their way to assist us when we had issues breaking down our large notes into smaller notes.  The banks refused to do so unless we have a account with them.  Bernadette came to the rescue when she accompanied us to bank to sort it out.  A word of warning - according to them, hardly anyone accepts big notes above Euros 50 in Ireland these days so best to break the notes down into smaller denominations before you arrive.

Meticulous and detailed, you can rely on Bernadette and Andrew to do their best in ensuring your stay is comfortable.  Personally, I recommend this place to those who like their peace and quiet and are conscious of the feelings of others when it comes to the noise level. So those who like to stomp around or prefer a place where they can be “loud” may wish to stay in a hotel (just a personal opinion).

We booked our 2 rooms directly through their website and were given an excellent rate as we paid in cash.  If we ever return to Ireland, we will definitely choose Abbeyglen again.

Stayed 2 nights at Abbeyglen Cottage B&B enroute to Kerry and back again for a night enroute to Zurich. 

A most delightful place for a layover or if one just wish to visit Dublin. Location is just 7 minutes walk to shops and restaurants like the Old School House Pub.

Bernadette and Andrew are such wonderful hosts and they made the experience a memorable one; especially with their delicious breakfasts and beautifully appointed rooms which are Quiet, Cushy and Clean... 

I also enjoyed the Lavazza ground coffee provided in the room. 

I certainly recommend Bernadette and Andrew’s B&B to anyone one looking for a place to rest in Swords, Dublin. 

My husband and I traveled with our son and daughter-in-law.  We chose this B&B in part due to the location close to the airport and easy bus commute into Dublin.  
Hosts Bernadette and Andrew were awesome. They were welcoming, friendly, and helpful.   Bernadette took time with maps and bus schedules to help with our sightseeing plans.  They called for taxis and helped with estimated costs for buses and taxi.  We stayed 3 nights with them in a beautifully appointed room with private bathroom and it was much more than we expected.  
Breakfast was delicious, with many choices and served with fresh fruit and yogurt each day. The pancakes are a MUST try!!
Better than a luxury hotel, we highly recommend staying here.  The bus stop is just a block away, airport a 10 min taxi ride away, and restaurants, pubs and shopping a short walk away.  
If we get the chance to return to Ireland we will definitely stay here again!  Thank you Bernadette and Andrew!

If you go to Dublin, stop searching, you've found the best place! Bernadette and Andrew make you feel at home from the very first moment. Beautiful, spacy rooms, clean and tidy, tasty breakfast with wide choice (trying their Irish breakfast is a must!). Excellent connection to the airport and Dublin city center, bus practically stops in front of the cottage. Pubs, good restaurants, shopping center are within walking distance. We shall definitely come back!
