Tried to book online for a weekend stay for the rugby but it failed to show dates & rates. Turns out it is not operational as a hotel but is in fact a homeless shelter for recovering drug addicts. Pity, as it previously was a decent hotel in a good area

Not a hotel, it’s a homeless Shelter

I went in to make an inquiry about the hotel, but the staff were very rude, Needless to say, I left pretty pronto. I would not recommend this place at all. There are other places in town that better deserve your money.

Poor customer service

Stayed here last night. The good - fabulous location, friendly/helpful receptionist, very comfy bed.
The not so good - key e hintry card was a bit fiddly to get it to work, no sockets anywhere near the bed and when I got out of the shower this morning, the bathroom ceiling was dripping wet and had soaked the entire bathroom floor.
If these few things were sorted, I'd be more than happy to return.

A few tweaks needed but nothing major

Travelled as a couple for a night away, fantastic location, easy to get to by bus from the airport and a short 2 minute stroll to the centre of Temple Bar. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and decent shower. The only downside was the level of noise, as our room was right above a bar we had the noise from that all night until the early hours. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again though.

Fab location but noisy

i have stayed her on numerous occasions both for Business and Pleasure . It is a great location just a few minutes walk from Temple Bar and just far enough away from the noise that comes with those busy streets . The hotel is a boutique type hotel  with no two rooms the same It is clean warm and comfortable . It has its own bar with life music a few nights of the week . No car-park but most city center hotels don't . It has a preferential rate at a near by car-park but that can be hard enough to get into sometimes  so you could end up paying a small fortune for overnight parking somewhere else . Highly recommend it

Great Location

Easy access to everything! Great breakfast. Rooms were to be desired as they were dated. No views through the window...only noise. No choice but to keep windows open as it was very hot with no AC. Only reason I’d return is it was easy to navigate through the town via feet from here and we ate well. Laundry service shrink my clothes :(. 

Location Location Location

This hotel is a decent stay for a short trip to Dublin. The location is good to see all the sites the city has to offer. The bedroom was a reasonable size with a lovely comfy double bed, bathroom was to expectations. 

In general, it is need of a little TLC but this did not take away from my overall experience. 

Would be staying here again on future visits to Dublin.

Great stay to see all the sites in the city!

The bed was 2 single beds pushed together and a double sheet over two single mattressses. It was very uncomfortable and my back is very sore and got barely any sleep with how uncomfortable the middle of the bed was as you could feel the lining of the two single mattresses together. I don't believe I should have been charged €149 for two single mattresses.

Awful bed. Would wish i didn't pay for it.

We were booked into the Paramount as part of a working trip and knew little about it other than the pics online and that it was in Temple Bar, at the heart of Dublin's nightlife.  On arrival we were greeted by friendly helpful staff who allowed us to leave our bags with them as we were early for check in.  When we returned later everything was fine, our room was clean and comfortable, it showed a little wear and tear but certainly nothing wrong with it for a couple of days, good toiletries, openable windows and plenty of room.  We enjoyed our stay, we didn't eat in the hotel but had no problems, the Saturday night was a little noisy late on but I managed to tune it out and sleep.  I am knocking off a star because we asked reception to book a taxi to the airport the night before and were assured it was booked, next morning we found out that it hadn't been booked, the staff sorted us one out quickly and apologised, but was a little disappointing.

Nice place to stay

This hotel is perfectly located just off the river in the Temple Bar area. There are loads of places to eat and drink within walking distance even for me, and I have difficulty walking. It's also easy to get to tour buses or, if you like walking, walk to lots of Dublin sights like Trinity College and Book of Kells if that gives you an idea. I thought it would be too loud or the rooms and bathroom would be cramped or outdated, but our room wasn't like that at all. The staff we met was very helpful and kind. Everything was clean. I liked the lobby style personally. Did not get to stay for breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
