Myself and 5 others visited Clifden for a weekend recently
and Stayed in the Atlantic Coast Hotel, right in the Center of Clifden .
Had a most pleasant Stay, found the hotel to be clean, nicely decorated
and really centrally located. The Manager was so helpful and made our stay
so enjoyable.
Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Beautiful Clifden.
What a destination, beautiful walks and fantastic scenery, wonderful food and
great nightly entertainment.

Fantastic Hotel

Stopped off today on business in Clifden.   Looking for lunch., I was direct to this establishment.   it didnt disappoint!  Stunning views, friendly staff and great food.  Very reasonably priced  Highly recommended.  Will definitely be back.

Wonderful 

This was sensational from the few drinks in the afternoon till the decision to stay for dinner on the lookout. Staff were fabulous and the food was high class! Fish and chips amazing and sirloin steak cooked to perfection 

The best 

we went to the restaurant for a cesar salad because long time ago we ate it and was fantastic. We weren't sure if still will be the same good but it was exactly as we expected. I can say without any doubt that it is the best cesar salad until now although quite expensive.

Our party of five were really impressed with the beautiful view of the harbour and the high quality food that we were served at The Atlantic Coast Hotel. The linguini, fish & chips, burger and salmon were all top class and highly recommended. With friendly and attentive staff, and prices similar to other restaurants in the area, we had no complaints regarding value for money. We finished off the evening with Irish Coffees. Absolutely outstanding. 
I have read other reviews regarding poor service and quality of the food. Did we strike lucky, or were other people unfortunate?

Super Views, Food & Service

Skip this place and eat elsewhere. We stopped for a quick lunch at this restaurant, ordered our food and before long it arrived. To my surprise there were three! calamari rings on my plate accompanied my a couple of leaves of lettuce. We were charged almost £9 for it! That is just rude.

Poor restaurant 

We booked this hotel for a getaway! It was a confirmed booking and we were looking forward to it ! As we drove down almost 350 km we had a call by hotel manager with less than 24 hr notice to inform us that our room was no longer available and it was sold to walk ins instead ! She made no apology and really didn’t give a damn !! We were completely put out by her tone and disregard to us to which she also told she didn’t have to even give us any notice ????? This is crazy behavior!! She told us she could get a room in a cheap b&b outside town for less the hotel price instead for us !! If we wanted to book a b&b we would have we choose a hotel not a b&b it is not the same thing ! I was infuriated that this could happen and that she gets away with this ! Absolutely disgusting !! We declined her offer for the b&b and we went elsewhere to a wonderful hotel ! Avoid if you don’t want to Be let down!!!  Worst customer service ever  and v badly handled !!!
