This place was great! The bed in the tent was confortable and the camp grounds are beautiful, and there's a common area with a bar, a pool table, and bean bags with cats and dogs hanging around. Sam & Yolanda are amazing hosts and really went out of their way to help us organise our trips. Whether you're going to climb the nearby Batukaru mountain or visit the Jatiluwih rice terraces or want more suggestions of what to do and see in the are, they are more than willing to help you out! Would definitely recommend staying in this place if you want to enjoy the other Bali away from the tourist crowds

This place has been the highlight of my trip in Bali. Ron and Sam are really welcoming and kind. The place is in the middle of the nature, waking up with the sounds of the forest was great. I will definitely come again and stay longer!/

We went on a spontaneous trip, with two kids, was welcomed very warmly. Had a great time.
Tents are very clean, beds are good, modern shower and toilets.

You know you are visiting some place special when the driveway is an adventure!  My lady and I were craving a mountain camping experience and found Ron's little slice of paradise here at Booking.com.  I cannot compliment Ron enough on his hospitality, and for the vision he had for this magnificent property.  All the facilities are quality, and the tents, bathrooms, and hot showers are all clean and comfortable.  The night before our stay there were 85 people on a day trip, about 30 of which spent the night...so there is plenty of room for groups.  Our time was shared quietly however with Ron, his nephew who was visiting from Holland, and one other couple.  A quick dash down the road to the local warung for some dinner and then we settled in for an evening of good conversation and cold beers at the bar.  Without doubt, in my personal opinion, this was the highlight.  Ron is an encyclopedic multi-genre music buff, and his collection of unique music videos made for a fantastic night of sharing and sing alongs!  After sleeping blissfully until the chicken hour (no sleeping in unless you are immune to the sounds of dawn), we lay in bed snuggling and listening to the melodic chanting drifting across the valley from the local balinese temple.  You will need to be aware on the drive in, as the last kilometer or so could be quite challenging for bule not used to the back tracks of the island.  I would suggest stocking up on a few snacks and bringing some of your own drinks, because once you are there you will not want to leave...even when it is time to check out! Been here with my boyfriend. The place is in d middle of jungle but worthed of you are an adventurer. Great service from d owner himself,Mr.Ronald, even we did music quizz with him amd really enjoyed it. First experience ever to sleep in a teepe but with glamorous facilities such as wifi, hot and cold water (very clean bathroom), great non-stop music playing, open kitchen with fabulous equipments and free durian eating straight from d tree.  Great place,good service,affordable price, magnificent experience. Would love to have second visit for comfy natural quiet weekend from busy from busy day of work

Experiencing the camp activities with the real ambiance. The place is clean, well organized and very safety.
Especially the owner, he is so kind and very welcome. He arranged everything with perfect as we expected.
The challenge is only the red ants, but it's not a big deal as long as meal free or make sure there is no sweet things either inside or outside the tend.
Recommended for the Group Outing, family and couples traveler.

Decided that I wanted to do something different in Bali.
The trip up we hired a scooter, make sure you are a reasonable rider, but a great adventure to get to camp site.
Right in the heart of the jungle.  Ron has a great set up, clean, beautiful surroundings and a great host.
Perfect for couples, solo, groups and families

Several weeks ago my wife & I stayed here on a recon trip for Sanur Cycle Tours. We thought it was a good  change from the normal guest house or homestay that you normally have here in Bali.  Whilst we really enjoyed Bali Camping I did have a few questions to ask. I know now that no meals are provided an no restaurant is on site. I do believe that they could do a basic BBQ for the guests so  We do not have to bring meals from other places or home. There is also no breakfast supplied which is okay with our cycling business. We can carry & offer our riders a good healthy breakfast that will get them started for the next days cycling.
We have now included Bali Camping into our list of accommodation for our cyclists that undergo our longer tours. Ron, please put a small table & stools into your tents. This makes it easier to take of shoes etc after a day of cycling. Otherwise a great variation to places to stay in Jatiluwih.
