718 reviewsI can not say enough about the incredible experience we had at this resort. We were made to feel like royalty the moment we arrived. The flower lei greeting and refreshing juice were perfect. To get to the resort we had a driver pick us up from Denpasar, it was an amazing drive and we stopped along the way at a coffee plantation and for lunch. This was a great way to see a new country for us. The resort is the most beautiful I've ever been to, if you are reading this review then stop right now and book this hotel. The grounds are amazing, the food is excellent the amenities are thoughtful and I can not say enough about the wonderful room including the outdoor shower. Every night we came back to our room to be greeted by flowers on our pillows, fresh fruit platter, and a delicate dessert. We visited the spa 3 times, it was truly a spiritual experience. We did the Bali massage which used acupressure, you could feel the energy flow from the therapist's fingers. The spa is the most beautiful I've ever been too. I also did a hair treatment. We did a dive excursion from Bali Diving Academy, we had an awesome day and got to see reef sharks, turtles, seahorses, and the most amazing sea fans and corals. If you want to escape from tourists and have a true Bali experience then visit Pemuteran, the people are amazing and the Matahari Beach Resort is worth every penny. You can truly unwind and find yourself here!
