Staman Villas

Came for an 8 day vacation mid Sept 2019 with some work colleagues. The villa is absolutely stunning. Far enough from the main streets to be quiet at night, but very very short walk to the beach or dozens if not hundreds of restaurants and places to shop. Staff - The staff attended to our every need and were super courteous while also giving us our space and not being intrusive. Driver picked us up from the airport and told us some good spots to check out for our first couple days. The housekeeping came by each morning to do some minor cleaning. At one point one of our party got somewhat sick and the staff were very helpful finding him medicine and even went out to pick some up for him at one point while the rest of us were out. They also put me in contact with people to book events and find activities to do around the area. Villa - The villa itself is everything you want for a secluded Bali getaway. The rooms are spacious and the separate guest houses give each person privacy while still being a foot step away from each other and the pool. Beds were comfy and the AC worked very well in each of the 3 villas. Wifi worked well, but did seem to slow down when all 6 guests were using it which isn't so much a fault of the villa... The pool was absolutely perfect. Heads up, the water is salty since it comes filtered from the ocean. I think almost all the water in the area is the same though so again, it's not a fault of the villa. Location - The location was really a home-run for us. You can walk 30 meters from the door to a nice coffee shop. Another 30 meters and you have multiple options for breakfast/dinner. Walk 10 minutes and you are right on a main road with more to do than one can hope to accomplish in a week... We did have a minor accident during our stay. One of our guests bumped a rental scooter up against the outside villa wall and scraped a decent amount of paint off it.... The host was EXTREMELY forgiving and understanding of the situation. We did pay for some paint and labor to get it fixed, but it wasn't much and the host was amazing in how he handled it. It was an unfortunate accident but it didn't make our trip any less enjoyable with how well it was handled by the staff/host. 10/10 would rent again.
