Fortunately I got superior room in aster. Very comfortable in new building, it also has good swimming pool, the service is also good
But it will be better if this hotel will provide shower room nearby swimming pool because it will be difficult for the guest who is in 2nd floor to get the room after swimming
Overall, the superior room is recommended 👍

Upon arriving at the front office of the hotel, i wasn't pretty impressed by the hotel. However, after driving further to the back of hotel area, the surrounding was quite decent.

Some staffs were friendly, except one middle aged lady, she looked like she was the supervisor because everytime i asked her questions or favors, she automatically passed to others.

We stayed in 3 different rooms. Two of them weren't accessible with cards aka the door opener couldnt be opened with cards. We received manual keys instead to access our rooms.

The room ambience is nice, we got 3 rooms facing the swimming pool. For a hotel with this kind of class, 4 and 5 local channel in room tv was ridiculously not enough. You need to provide more tv channels and even some international and cable tv's channels.

There were only 2 hangers in the cupboard. The shower was needed to be replaced as well. Beside, the bathroom was an ok for me.

When it comes to having breakfast, omg, you are totally obligated to step up the quality. No foods came with quality, except the quail egg's skewers.

The fried rice was blend, the sauted tempe contained too much oyster sauce and lack of soya bean sauce, the clear soup was clear but lack of taste.

I personally only enjoyed taking breads with jams during the breakfast. The orange juice, omg, that was from nutrisari, yuck.

Overall, I would provide 5 stars if all of my inputs above could be fulfilled.

Batu City Visit with Family

I stayed here with my colleagues from a government-owned university in Malang. We held a two-day meeting. I found the breakfast was too simple. Vegetable salad with peanut sauce. A kind of dish you can find almost anywhere in town. No fruit juice, no even fresh cold water. The bedroom where I stayed, room number 1015, was not equipped with hotel phone book. So you will not know what number to dial the front desk, the kitchen and anything you need for the hotel service. The bathroom lack of complete amenities. The only thing I love most about the bathroom, is the water shower. Fresh and it flowed heavily from the shower. That's the only thing I like most about this hotel for my one-night stay here. Free wifi? Hmmm....I checked the wifi service in the meeting hall and I found the signal was unstable. On and off. I should have brought my own mobile wifi.

Impressive? No.

messy registration, unprofessional staffs, very basic amenities.. Poorly maintain hotel i supposed, very dark abd gloomy environment overall both the area and in the room. i cant stand the dirty bathroom the most.. T.T

in my opinion, this hotel definitely is not 3* hotel
