Pros:
1) The location of the place is excellent walk able distance from yercaud lake and the fruit market. 
2) Rooms are clear
3) We took the balcony rooms so the view was awesome
4) Helping staffs

Cons:
Only problem  they dont have restaurant in the hotel but there are nearby restaurant

Excellent stay

Positives:
Ram's Inn at Yercaud is situated at a nice location. Very close to the Main road (means it could be noisy) and the Emerald Lake. The property is very well maintained, neat and clean.

Negatives:
The hotel has strange policies like Drinking and Smoking strictly prohibited - however I could see people smoking in the Balcony.
The Rooms on the ground floor are really a bad choice if you have unruly kids in the adjacent rooms. We had a terrible experience as the kids would create a lot of noise playing in the lobby. The hotel management could not do much to control this. But the staff is courteous.
There is no WiFi connection or Mobile network connectivity.
There is no room service. Even Tea and Coffee not served.
No Refrigerator in the entire hotel.
The hotel does not seem to have a policy as they allowed 15 people to stay in a suite meant for 5 people max (this was the main cause for having a noisy ground floor)
The hotel is really no value for money considering the negatives. 

A Noisy stay!

Its a good hotel, value for money. Mr Balaji at the reception was very courteous, other staff also very courteous and willing to help. Good views to the nearby hills from some of the rooms. In close proximity to the lake and easy to reach/ commute.

The only drawback is that there is no restaurant attached.
