We had a 2 night stay in one of the tents, it was definitely luxurious, the bed was very comfortable and the tent was really clean. The food was so tasty and plentiful, the chef was always checking that everything was as we wanted. The resort itself is very quiet and has a pool and lots of others things to do, there is a viewing deck, which is worth sitting in and relaxing. The staff were on hand for anything and were very helpful, courteous and professional. The safari's arranged from here were amazing, we felt really looked after and special, the whole time we were here and would love to return.

Lovely and chilled

Lovely safari resort in the reserve about 20 minutes drive from where all the jeeps/vehicles start from.  The staff, bedrooms, food, extra activities were all excellent - couldn't fault anyone.  Even the resident dogs were a lovely bonus.
Only comment would be that you had to request a hairdryer if you wanted one, which was provided, but with not too many rooms on the resort it would be easier to provide a hairdryer for each room rather than guests having to request one.
I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone and their staff were all excellent.  We had a wonderful stay.  Make sure you have some warm clothing for the early game drives or boat rides as it's v windy and cold until later in the day.  The afternoon drives are much warmer.

The staff including Stevie and Toto the dogs were outstanding in every way. The food, service and nature experience were second to none. The architectural detail was exceptional.

Perfectly elegant

Kaav an exquisite and  well maintained property. 
It's not only a great weekend getaway, but will serve well for a staycation as it's really peaceful, serene and cosy.
The food is excellent and the staff is really humble, helpful and understanding.
The rooms are quite comfortable and the decor is tasteful.
There are a few sight seeing places nearby from Kaav that's a great way to spend the evening, One can cover these by foot or by the bike provided by Kaav.

I don't usually take the time to pen down reviews but this time I simply had to.  This place takes the cake. Not only were they able to cater to my mad hatter family but they went the extra mile in every way possible to ensure we had the best getaway. Vaanya and Sujeeth were superb hosts. S really knows his stuff when it comes to the wildlife in Kabini and is just a treasure trove of knowledge. The food was absolutely delicious. The chefs and Vaanya made some of the tastiest desserts and the pizza and khao suey were lip smacking. Suffice it to say we had an incredible time at Kaav and will definitely come back again. 

P.S. how could we forget dogs! Stevie my man. Such a gentle, lovely boy and the ever so naughty Toto, too!

Stunning property, superb hosts!

Just one of the loveliest places I've stayed for a long time. Very small and intimate, with just two super-comfortable ac tents, four bedrooms and a one-bedroom villa. They have cleverly balanced simplicity with luxury and show just how top-quality service should be done. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone made us feel so special, in a friendly and interested way. Divya and her team are wonderful. The food is designed to suit your tastes and requirements and is varied and delicious. Their safaris are well organised and Nagarhole reserve has a growing tiger poplulation and there is a good chance of seeing tigers, leopards, elephants as well as many birds and deer. The boat safari on the Kabini river is also good, and we saw osprey, otters etc. The tiny safari at night was fascinating, finding spiders and insects in the trees around the restaurant. Don't look anywhere else on Kabini, just go for this, you won't regret it!

We made some great memories for lifetime during our stay here.  A tranquil and refreshing property.
Well maintained by friendly and caring people.
It felt like I am visiting my mother's place.  Really, you know what.. food and  ambience can be good anywhere but this place is blessed with super powerful positive energy that will seap in soul quietly! You just have to be ready to be receive it. We did...and it was something. 
Even the quietness of this place was  giving!

Had an excellent stay. Food was customised, simple but good. Facilities were wonderful. Enjoyed the observation deck. Divya was very helpful, always responded with a smile and guided us to the location as we were travelling from Mysore. Sujeet the naturist was our lucky charm as we ended by sighting tigers on our safaris trips…he is very experienced and also lead us on tiny safari within the property…

Would have given 6 stars if we could. We don’t think we have ever stayed anywhere with 
more attentive and thoughtful service. The food is plentiful and delicious, the rooms were very comfortable and the whole team were fantastic. Divya is a superstar! Thank you from us all…

6 star stay

We stayed at Kaav for the second time last week. Since we were not able to visit the Nagarhole Forest for the last two years because of Covid. Our first stay here in Kaav had been very enjoyable and this time too it was really wonderful. Its a small property with just six rooms, so its quiet and peaceful disturbed only by the sounds of the jungle that it abuts. Its green and well maintained. The staff are excellent. Food is also very good and one must compliment the chef for such well chosen menus. Divya was very helpful. It was Sujith, the naturalist on the property who accompanies you on the visit to the forests, who really made our stay. He is knowledgeable about the jungle, has excellent spotting skills, knows animal behavior and is persevering in ensuring one has a really exciting jungle safari. He also conducts a Tiny safari within the property to acquaint guests with different varieties of spiders. This was quite unique and interesting. Would strongly recommend Kaav to those visiting Nagarhole Forest. Or even if one is not visiting the forest it is a lovely place to relax in.
