I am so delighted to find the Marari Beatles homestay on the trip advisor site. My wife and I visited the property in January 2016 and it truly is a find. We have been visiting Kerala for the best part of 20 years and have seen the changes in the Marari area and the growth of the homestay businesses.

This particular property is owned by Benny and Anastasia and we found it spotless. The food consisted of a marvellous variety of home cooked ,flavoursome dishes both veg and non veg. It can be spiced to the palate of the guest. Fish is available from the garden pond and doesn't come fresher than this.
 
One of the real advantages is that the homestay is in a small village, a very short tuk tuk ride from  Marari ,so the experience is one of village life. The name is a result of Benni having played the tabala with Paul McCartney on his visit to the Marari Beach hotel,he recounts the experience with a beaming smile.
A wonderful experience and a little different. I have no doubt we we will return.
