It was a nice trip with where we met very nice person and human being Mr. Qutub. We were two couples , He helped us to planned our trip in a nice way. He arranged the Camp, Jeep Safari,Camel Safari and other activities for us. He also take care of all the pick up and drops since we landed to Jaisalmer. He is a nice person and very good entertainer, he helped us in all possible ways. He is having deep understanding of jaiselmer area and he can provide best plan to arrange your trip according to your budget.

We stayed in nice camp where all the families are there. Met with really cool people enjoy alot.

All the credit goes to Mr. Qutub on the last day we visit Tanot Mata temple and Longewala.

I have been to Kotwal Haveli in this March 2019 and It was wonderful experience with great Hospitality. Specially owner he is nice person with positive attitude. Rooms were is very hygenic. And services were also good

A wonderful trip with some Cousins

We had a great trip to jaisalmer thanks to Alam and everyone at Kotwal havelli, the camel safari was an amazing experience and we were very spoilt, hotel rooms are spacious and clean and the havelli is very close to the fort and easy to walk around the town. Thank you!!

Had a lovely stay at Kotwal Haveli, great location near to the fort and Alam made sure we had the best time possible 10/10 for hospitality and service would recommend to anyone coming to jaisalmer - they organise a great camel safari too

I Arunava Kar from Kolkata, booked "KOTWAL HAVELI JAISALMER" hotel through Make My Trip (MMT). My Booking date was Sun, 03 Nov 2019 to Mon, 04 Nov 2019. We are 4 adult and 1 child.  I was stay "KOTWAL HAVELI" only one night. Its true that the hotel owner Mr. Alam was very helpful. My train was arrived in Jaisalmer on 05:00 A.M. (Very early in the morning). But my Check-In start was 12:00 P.M. that means I was reached 5 hrs ago. But the hotel owner arrange my room on 05:30 A.M. also he was send a car for me  on Jaisalmer railway station on 05:00 A.M. as a complementary basis. (Without any charges). Its true that Mr. Alam's service  was very much  appreciate. Also I told one person Ms. Rekha Verma, This lady was worked on reservation section. She was really very polite and her hotel related service was very appreciate. Next day my booking was "Sam Sand Dunes Desert Safari Camp Jaisalmer" But there Check-in time was 04:00 P.M. But KOTWAL HAVELI check-out time was 10:00 A.M. So I was really very upset because from 10:00 A.M. to 04:00 P.M. (6 hrs). is lots of time with out room. Because my child age was 6 years and my old age father was 68 and my mother was 60. Then I clearly said my problem to Mr. Alam. Its true, he was instant arrange a room for me (for 6 hrs), without have any charges. Very much friendly approach. I strongly recommended this "Budget Hotel"

Now, I told the NON APPRECIATE side of this hotel. In my point of view that the hotel need more clean. All the rooms, Washroom need more & more clean. Also hotel reception area, hotel terrace area, Tea Cup, Water Filter, Water glass is very simple category and not very much clean. Please Please care of it because lots of children and old age person visit your hotel. 

Next I told about Food Quality:

Food quality is "NOT BAD" but price is too much high. I was booked "MAP PLAN" So I get complementary Breakfast  & Dinner. But next day I booked lunch for my family. We are 4 adult and 1 child. I was order 4 plate plain rice, 3 plate normal vegetable Sabji, 3 Plate plain Dal, and 4 piece "OMLET" and maybe 4 cup of normal Black Tea without sugar. When I was check-out they charge me Rs. 1800/-  (One Thousand & Eight Hundred Only). I again say that food quality is "NOT BAD" but if I booked this type of lunch on any other normal restaurants then it will maximum 750/- (Seven Hundred and Fifty). Because I was choose another restaurant in Jaisalmer Fort area. Name was TRIPTI RESTAURANT. They arrange 5 seat for my family in the Cabin (Fully AC - Air-Condition) and I was ordered same item but they attached more 2 item (Maybe Chatni and Acchar). Finally they charged 750/- (Per Thali - 150/-). So I will request Mr. Alam, please care of this section.

When we book we were shown with best photos of rooms in Hotel Kotwal When we reach their bad rooms were given and for the next day we asked for a refund and checkout so, they allocated the new rooms which were a little bit clean.

If you are going for sand dues they suggest booking PRIME Desert Resort which they own and ask you to pay at the hotel instead of that prime desert resort because it is a 3rd class resort and you will surely reject it.

Cheap worst resort with bad food, ambiance and etc.

Please look for another hotel and desert resort.
I suggest don't go for it.

It is a genuine review rest review giving good rating was paid and their friends review.

Bad Rooms in Hotel and Worst Prime Desert Resort

We had booked the family suite for two nights after seeing the reviews. But we were shocked to see the condition of the approach road, the lobby, room, kitchen as nothing makes it a 3 star property. You go through a small gully to get to the hotel, a very small lobby surrounded by rooms. The check in was not smooth as they did not have our booking information. 
 Room was okay but bedsheets, pillow covers were not changed and they were not clean. Bathrooms did not have hot water in end December. There was a large group staying and they had brought their own kitchen and their equipments and utensils were all over the place in the kitchen and we did not have any clue how to have our breakfast. After complaining to the manager,something was arranged after an hour. There was no support for booking the safari and we went to the market to book it on our own. Overall a disappointing stay in a very average hotel after paying a price for 3 star property.

Overrated Hotel

Hotel Kotwal haveli is just nearby jesslmer fort.The hotel is located on main road from jesslmer to jodhpur.it is average kind of hotel. The breakfast is also not really good.you can stay here for a night stay here.
