I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort and from the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The accommodations were luxurious, with spacious rooms. The dining options were exceptional, with fresh and delicious cuisine served beautifully. Specially thanks Mr.Aman property manager.

Good 

The view and services are next level and food also delicious. The personal beach was too beautiful and they have a setup for candle light dinner for couples. Personally I can refer this resort to hangout with family and friends.

We were in Royal Suite rooms. The rooms are good and bathroom is spacious. The best thing though is the beach access. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. At night when there is high tide water comes as high as the resort boundary. It is such a mesmerising experience. They put beautiful lights on the beach front and even arrange special candle light dinner there. The food was tasty and the restaurant has good service and staff.
Location is a huge plus point as there is so much to do around the resort. Market is ten minute walking distance from here. The staff ks helpful and ready to please you. Overall great experience. 

Beach property with awesome food

Excellent  hotel with beach located in the east where you can enjoy sunrise watch and walking on the sea shore. The hotel has good staying facility with AC & attached bathroom. They provide restaurant facility also where you can enjoy your food of your choice.The location of hotel is very pleasing and scenic.

I was a guest here for ~2 days and 2 nights, from 19th to 21st December, 2018.

To make it more comprehensive, I'll divide my review into segments:

1. The Room (5/5):
Unlike many other guests who've written poor reviews, I was allocated one of the newly constructed cottages, and those are the ones you should ask for!
Room is large, and had a porch with sofas. We used this space to wash our feet and dry our clothes, and sit in the evening breeze.
Bathroom is spacious, and comes with a bathtub.

2. The Beach (5/5):
The resort is on Beach No. 5. If you've heard of the Kalapathhar Beach, well, Beach No. 5 and Kalapathhar Beach are extensions of the same stretch of sand, and have the same topographical characteristics. 
Placid turquoise waters, with visibility up to a meter or two. Excellent for swimming, don't forget your swimming googles though!
The sea is dotted with black stones, and is bound by islands on 3 sides. 
There is a shower on the beach, and the beach is cleaned every morning. However, one may find debris from trees lining the beach, which is, after all, natural.

3. Amenities (4/5):
There is no WiFi, agreed. But then, I am not deducting any more points because I don't use my phone all that much when travelling.
I am giving them 4 stars for their prompt car service, with professional and punctual drivers; and for their medical kit. I needed it after I injured myself, and it was well organized and sufficient. 

4. Staff (5/5):
This is truly where the resort shines. For instance, a guy duly came to our room and asked us everyday at 9AM if we had our breakfast, and at 9PM if we had sufficient water for the night. 

5. Food (3.5/5):
The a-la-carte menu restaurant is exorbitantly priced. The buffet is perhaps the best bet. Costs about Rs. 350 for a Non-Veg Dinner, and Rs. 300 for Veg. However, the Breakfast Buffet has no Non-Veg items. 
I have however given them a good score for their brilliant preparation of the items in the buffet. 
There's Salt Water Cafe, right across the road, which excels in preparation as well, and is cheaper for a-la-carte. Most guests usually have their snacks and lunch from there.

Summary:

Pros:
1. The beach!
2. Reasonably priced.
3. Excellent rooms!
4. Helpful staff.

Cons:
1. No Wi-Fi.
2. Costly restaurant.

I highly recommend this resort! :D

Rooms are big but not cleaned/maintained well. Bathrooms are dirty and cockroaches are roaming freely. Food is way too spicy. Even after request several times buffet food was spicy and not at all upto the mark. Food ordered though was fine and tasty. It seems they do this on purpose to make guests order out of the planned package.

Dogs are everywhere within the property. Early morning wake and you have bunch of dogs sitting outside your room. Kids were afraid to go out on beach. Private beach is also could be looked after well and can have a good proper sitting arrangement. 

Overall the property is in good place and have private beach but not well looked after and managed by the owner.

Dissatisfied 

1. Rooms: We booked VIP rooms online and upon arrival we are upgraded to royal suite as there is vacant VIP rooms until the next day. We are glas about it. The room is nice. Unfortunately, the toilet is zero point. There is a tub but it’s yellowish in color and did not maintained nicely. No fridge too. As your paying an amount of money saying as a SUITE. I think a mini fridge is a plus if they could have added to a room. We are then tranferred to the VIP room the ff day. It’s was nice everything is made of wood that you can literally hear the whisper form the other room. And when you step on floor it makes a squeak sound. 
2. Food: We had a free breakfast incld in the room. So they had buffet served from 7-9am. I am not an Indian, technically in hotels they should provide variety when it comes to food coz your matker is not only Indians. I’ve noticed that there are also western guests in the resort. Hence, they offered indian cuisine everyday. Okay given that they want  provide authenticity and experience for them. But once twice okay. Everyday the same food? Or what if your staying there for a week. You will be served the same food everyday. Menu planning. It doesnt mean you have to serve 5 star food. Just variations and flexibility for other guests too. Even egg you have to order and charged to your room.
3. Beach: The resort is located in front beach. This is awesome for beach bumming and laid back evenings. But they should be aware also of the disposal of their waste. Before going to the beach you’ll pass a hill of plastic and other wastes from the resort itself. It’s not a nice view to see.
4. Staff: Some are nice and polite. But some are not. Managers are helpful. Waiters are cool. But one really got into our nerves. We asked nicely about the check out time but unfortunately we are yelled at. I think he is the head waiter from the resto. Very impolite. He kept mentioning that we dumped glasses in the beach one night we were sitting to drink in the beach side. They some sort of misunderstanding. Coz, beforehand we asked one of their staff to atleast take care of it and gave ample amount. He said yes, but unfortunately forgot it. The head waiter made it as a big issue. If your guests did something wrong in the premises, you shouldve atleast warn then not to do this on the ff day itself so we can explain our side and not during the check out day then you have bring it out. He was shouting to us like we are dumb and he is saying that it is the way he speaks. Such an irrational reasoning. In this case, then who will adjust, we the paying guests or the staff to give good impressions not only for himself but also for the hotel’s  benefit as well. The staffs are the front liners of the hotel. They give first and last impressions to their guests. It doesn’t mean he has “to kneel down” and all. But atleast we can talk things in calm and better way. No to shouting. 

—We stayed there for 4days/3nights. This is my feedback about the hotel. I am not against the hotel or so on. This is just my opinion as a previous guest. But still thank you.

The resort is between poor and average.

Location is great, buffet is good, the rooms are below par, the service is bad with no intercoms working. For every little thing you have to go to reception. Only savings grace is the evening and morning in their private Beach.

Very badly managed as there is no trained manager. Rooms are not clean, there is power supply problem as such a/c are not effective. Complimentary breakfast is horrible. It's on the beach but not well maintained.
