This is a great hotel recommended to me by a friend of mine. The staff are lovely and very eager to make your stay pleasant and friendly. The bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean. There is complimentary water provided and a menu for an external food company that can deliver to the hotel. En-suite bathroom as well. 
I will certainly be staying here again in future!

The staff were so friendly and helped me with information for my travels. 
The location is perfect as it’s a short walk from the centre of town. 
The bed was so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. 
Rooftop balcony to watch the sun rise over the mountains.

We stayed for three nights at Magnolia residency. We were three adults and chose a double bedroom on the first floor. First, the owner was very kind and made us feel at home. He even provided running hot water when there was a power cut and the geyser was not working. The attendants who provided us tea and coffee at our rooms were also exceptionally well behaved and always had a smile on their faces. Please give this hotel a try when you visit Darjeeling. It's very near to the Mall and is located at a very gentle incline which is manageable by senior citizens as well. The only downside is that they don't have a lunch/dinner facility. It became extremely difficult for us to find food around 8 in the evening when the temperatures reached 3 degrees celsius. Another issue is that the rooms were a bit small for three adults but you could ask the owner for bigger rooms. We didn't avail of that option due to budget restrictions.

The hotel manager is a gem. He was extremely welcoming and anticipated all our needs eg offering us a heater, double checking with taxi drivers etc. Breakfast was a tasty omelette and 2 enormous pieces of toast. Delicious. A short walk to the mall, lots of restaurants nearby. The softest bed in India!

The staff is really helpful and nice, rooms are clean and the service is excellent! Naveen has helped us a lot and gave us tips on Darjeeling and places to eat. It’s cozy, calm place to stay with great location.

We stayed two weeks,it's a long stay through which you have enough time to experience all the pros and contras of a lodging. And we really felt like at home!!!. The rooms are spacious and clean, with blankets. Hot water and bathroom amenities, and towels. TV and beautiful views of the Himalaya from the corridor and the upstairs terrace. 2 min walk from the main square and 5 min walk from the taxi station. It's in the middle of the city but not as noisy as you can expect. Darjeeling is a nosy city because of the constantly car horn sounds during the daytime, and it's a humid city because of the altitude and weather, so don't complain about the humidity, as its like that everywere...
We used to go almost every day to the terrace to chill a little bit.
The breakfast is abundant, delicious and energyzer, some days we had soup for dinner which was also delicious. The milk tea they prepare is a must (we got addicted to it). The momos delicious.
So the place is wonderful, close to the center, clean with delicious food....all this it's okay, but the most important thing are the people who works there, they are professional, friendly and kind. They gave us tips, recommendations, advices, helped when we needed. They made our stay unforgettable, and they made us feel like at home Thank you Naveen, Dewakar, Diwrats, and all the staff, you are amazing!

The hotel is situated in the prominent location of the darjeeling mall,it is a small property with a   friendly ambience and the staffs of the hotel are extremely helpful and polite.It was lovely staying there ,the rooms are cosy with all the arrangements in the room finely  maintained and clean. Overall it is a lovely hotel and I highly recommend it.

This place is by and large pretty good. The manager, Naveem, was really friendly and helpful with information on all the questions I came asking. He responded quickly and efficiently to any issue we had. The rooms were comfortable but the bathroom tended to be a little on the cold side. There was adequate hot water but the cold tiked floor made showers bearable rather than enjoyable. The set breakfasts were substantial and they varied the menu each day. Accessibility can be a bit of a problem but porters can be hired cheaply as in our case to lug our heavy suitcases across the very muddy road to the taxi stand. It is not very far from the mall area. This place provides very good value for money so is highly recommended. 

The manager is really nice and polite. The location is really good, just next to the mall market and Chowrasta, a 5-10 mins walk from Bhanu Bhawan. Porters are available from Bhanu Bhawan for Rs 150 if you want. The rooms are nice, clean and comfy, had a small cupboard, water bottles, a kettle, hot water, and free Wifi, though it didn't work in the room much. Highly recommend it.

stayed for 3 nights in june 2019 in magnolia residency darjeeling. the family that runs it is good and polite.the location is good right near the mall chowrasta.the rooms are ok but a little pricey. Hot water provided but no geyser.wifi good.all in all a good hotel but can be cheaper.
