they do not help you in case of difficulties

the neighbors of the hotel are very noisy

In conclusion, I do not recommend this hotel especially because of the reception man who spoils the whole stay

very noisy hotel

If all you are looking for is a neat and tidy AC room to crash after long days in goa...look no further. The rooms were clean and the washroom spotless.Antiskid tiles in the bathroom was a big plus with toddles. Very polite and helpful staff, especially Avinash was very sweet in getting stuff like hot water and milk for my kid...and the best part was that it is a 5 min walking distance from a quite and tidy tivai beach. If you like the crowd then keep walking on the beach and in 8 min you reach calngute beach....want still more crowd,  keep walking and 10 more min you reach baga beach..lol...it's all just a long stretch. The bus stand is 1 min,  scooty renting at hotel and lot of nice veg and nonveg eateries nearby. Great place to stay...ps the room has a mini fridge at these rates!

Total value for money

I was looking forward to stay here for 2 nights and have paid for the room and received confirmation over 1 month ago. Today 1 day before my arrival they cancelled my room and kept my money. Absolutely horrible behaviour!

Nice facility,clean rooms,friendly staffs,near to the beach,specially the food was good,thanks to Mr.sandy the owner of the hotel he is very down to earth person and a better guide to explore Goa...!!

NICE HOTEL TO STAY IN THE HEART OF GOA,CALANGUTE

We came to Goa 1st time,we found hotel sun & sea,it's in a prime location near by beach,shopping centre & all other shops are on foot step,all staffs are best and co-operative,cleanliness are well maintained,food is good and in budget,i recommend every one hotel sun & sea..!!

Goa trip

After flying from New York via Manchester/Abu Dhabi/Bombay we arrived in Goa minus one checked in luggage that didn't make it until the following day. 

We jumped in a taxi from the airport straight to Calangute and after a little trouble finding the property we found Hotel Sun & Sea.

If anybody has booked this property online I would suggest to be taken to Falcon Resort as this is across the road and quite a well known resort then Sun & Sea is across the road but upstairs above a restaurant so not that easy to spot from the road however there are signs.

If you have been to Goa before it's just off the main road where Sportsman Bar is and just turn at the bus stop and the property is just down on the right. 

Managed to get the room about 11am once the other guests had checked out at 10am and the room cleaned, we were pleased to get some sleep after the long journey.

We found Hotel Sun & Sea to be a great little property that is Managed by Sandy and his small friendly team and we had booked 4 weeks and would have loved to stayed for longer but we checked online and didn't have availability over Christmas and NY so had to move during our stay in Goa.

Room was a great size and found this to be very clean compared to other Indian guest houses we had stayed in before along with a decent sized wet room and balcony and best of all A/C all at an amazing rate. 

The only negative is the hot water is not always available but not a huge issue for us just had to pick your time to shower and wash when the water was hot and the second would have been wifi available in the rooms by installing another router upstairs to boost the signal. 

Will book Sun & Sea again for future visits and would suggest friends and family stay also
