This property would have been great but it’s unbearably noisy. The live music is great but it’s impossible to sleep. The windows are single pane as it’s an older building and the bars down below are noisy until about 3 AM. None of us slept well unfortunately.

The apartment was centrally located near Rainbow Street, Hallgrimskirkja church, restaurants, coffee, bakeries and Bónus, grocery store. We enjoyed our stay as we could go exploring for the day, regroup and relax at the apartment, then head out again for dinner. The location is also close to bus stop #6, Culture House, for airport and tour group pickups. The apartment was clean and very comfortable.

The rooms do NOT resemble what you see in the pictures on hotels.com or on their own website. There is noise from the street and live music every evening and night. The apartment functions and the beds were clean and nice, but the furniture, floor, kitchen are really worn and well-used. The windows are old and not tight. A complete renovation would be needed. However, a really good location in the middle of the city and close to nightlife.

This place is located over a bar/nightclub. The music was sooo loud and there were obnoxious people screaming in the streets until well after 03:00. It was also not very clean. We found hair and dirt in the beds. There is no reception desk, and no staff anywhere to be found to help with problems. The only good thing was the amount of space (nice to have 3 bedrooms for our family of 5).

The location is terrific.  The check in/out process was seamless and we were even able to get in a bit early (which was great).  The unit amenities were as advertised and the unit was clean (the cleaning folks were lovely).There are two problems with this place - one specific to the unit we were in and the other being a broader security issue.  From a security perspective, this is an unmanaged property without anyone staffing the lobby.  The storage lockers are not very secure and we found homeless people in the lobby multiple times (including smoking in the lobby).The unit we were in was directly on top of a bar that had live bands playing music LOUD until at least 11:00 every night (and I understand it goes until 3:00 am on the weekends).  This was not disclosed in advance and was a major problem with the unit.Overall, great location but I would never stay here again due to the noise.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay in these apartments. They have a wonderful view of the mountains and are incredibly spacious. Katerina the host resolved any issues we had promptly, and was very helpful throughout our stay. The apartments are priced very reasonably for what you receive. We will certainly stay here again

Incredible apartment

We spent 5 nights here, our room was lovely, we were in an end room with 3 floor to ceiling windows curved round the room. Room had everything we needed - comfy bed, coffee station, good shower, safe. We found the room to be too warm in March and slept with the windows open. Not too noisy from outside. No noise from bar below in the room we were in. 
Bathroom could do with an extractor and main light needed bulbs replaced. 
Would stay here again as nice space and right in the centre with lots of great bars and restaurants around.

Great stay, would return

Great hotel to stay in Reykjavik! The best location in the center. They also provide the place to store the suitcases which was very helpful. The room itself is nice and clean, even though it was a little bit small. It has a huge TV inside and all the bathroom amenities. The view is amazing indeed and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Recommend!

Me and my wife came here for our anniversary.  Location is amazing, everything minutes away.  Everything was nice and clean.  Loved the island it was like landing on another planet.  On return I would definitely book here again.  People have moaned about the noise but we didn’t hear anything. Bit to be fair the band underneath was amazing also 😏
