Good  (or not bad) stay for 1 night. Room furniture is old and the sofa and the bad is used. They have free parking in the garden. Breakfast is at the hotel (with same name) so need to walk approx 5 min.

Hiking trip

The trip to this place was a disaster possibly because it was sandwiched between such nice accommodation in Sopron and Zalaszentgrot. The staff were OK, the rooms a bit dated, the towels and bedding poor quality and stained, the heating uncontrollably hot. That was just about OK but the disco thumping out immediately below us (along with the shouting choir!) until 4:00am was the final straw. No-one ever mentioned this, be it at the point of booking or when we arrived, quite a fundamental point I would have thought. 

Another couple in our party complained at 1:00am and were offered a room at the sister Wolf Hotel but they had to take their bedding with them on a cold walk across the street. We eventually joined them at about 3:30am, sleeping on bunk beds in their room, but managed little sleep after that. 

The next morning the breakfast was OK but the hotel owner refused initially to accept that there had been any issues, said that no-one else had complained that night or before and it only happened once a month anyway. Not a polite person at all. I don't know if she was being honest but I saw a lot of guests who looked like they hadn't slept much at all. Sarvar is worth visiting, lovely thermal baths and old town but plenty of better places to stay. Definitely not a guest house or hotel that will see us again!

Not a great visit at all

It is not a bad hotel for Hungarian people. The price-performance ratio is optimal. The staff speaks German and English well, everyone is polite and looks well taken care of. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. However, breakfast leaves much to be desired.

It's not a bad place for hungarian settings at all. Price\quality relationship is perfect. Hotel stuff speaks good German and English, everyone is neat and polite. Apartments are spacy and comfortable. Breakfast, however, leaves MUCH to be desired.

One-night stay

I have never had such a bad holiday!Although the bedding was freshly covered,they had stains!The ceilings had certainly never seen a watch machine.The sofa had a completely dusty load to pull out of.I slept on widespread bath towels out of disgust anyway.The bathroom in room 15 has no storage facilities except for a shaky floor.The towels provided have also seen better times.Every second night we were kept available by the neighbour's bells from 03:00 to about 04:30.
