Hostal Guacamayos

I stayed here for a few days after leaving Utila, and before heading back to San Pedro Sula to catch my flight back home to Canada and it was wonderful! The location is great and the staff are super friendly. But the highlight of my stay was meeting Lenny! He told me about the hike and waterfalls at Pico Bonito National Park, so I had booked the tour the next morning. Lenny also ended up being my tour guide for this hiking trek, and his friend Willem came along to assist. They were both accommodating, helpful, and funny! They also take awesome pictures during the trek. After descending the mountain, we finished the evening off with roasting marshmallows on an open fire just off the river bank, cutting up fresh watermelon, and washing it all down with ice cold Sala Vida’s! I highly recommend Hostal Guacamayos in La Ceiba :) If I could give 10 stars to Lenny- I would!! Thanks for a warm welcome!
