We were surprised both with the quality of our suite and also the warm welcome and beautiful heart of our host, Vasso. She made us feel right at home and gave us great recommendations. 

The place was clean, safe and secure, and with working AC!

Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Wonderful suite and beautiful hospitality in a perfect location

Upon arriving our host was a more mature woman insisted on carrying my wife's bags up the stairs and gave us a rundown on the room and all of the different things to do on the island. then she returned with a serving tray of some juice and a small bottle of Kitro a spirit that is unique to Naxos and told us that this is a drink we drink on the Island to celebrate weddings and she knows this is our honeymoon so she wanted to prepare that for us. The location of Alkion is a 2-minute walk to St George beach an awesome white sand beach with a few bars and cafes and stores nearby. Alkion is about a 5-minute walk from the port and the city center full of bars tavernas and shops. We fell in love with Naxos and Alkion studios on this trip I would recommend Alkion to anyone planning to travel to Naxos.

Great hospitality in a great location

I loved the location. the beach is just around the corner. Markets and bakeries everywhere. 10 min walk or less to the port. The host wants to make sure you have a great time. She served a nice glass of fresh juice and cake upon arrival. She's a lovely lady always ready to help. I was glad to finally have a great shower with hot water and it was a normal size, not as small as most Greece hotels.  I would stay there again.

Amazing location and hospitality

Really good location, our host vasso was lovely, close to restaurants, bus station and of course the beach. Plaka beach divine catching the bus makes it so easy. Took a bus upto apiranthos for a lovely lamb lunch at amorginos taverna. Thanks vasso great stay

Excellent location

A simple but very Nice little hotel with a Good location close to the Beach and the center of Town. The owner gave us very Nice homemade cookies and was very Lovely and so friendly. Very Good price too. 

Lovely owner

We had the best stay at Alkion. The owner was so friendly, and gave us drinks and some home made cookies when we checked in, as well as giving us lots of really helpful tips on what to see in Naxos. The room was lovely, with a beautiful bright pink bougainvillea overhanging our balcony. Everything was perfectly clean, and it was so convenient to have a kitchen for cooking. A beautiful beach was literally a 2 minute walk away, and the hotel had lots of beach equipment we could borrow for free. We were also only a few minutes walk from a big supermarket and about a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. The owner left us cake during our stay, and the WiFi was super fast too!! We would definitely stay here again.
