Milos is an incredible island to visit and we really enjoyed our stay at Aphrodite Studios. A homely self catering apartment set against a beauitful backdrop. It is in a very central location, just a 5 minute walk from the harbour and close to lots of restaurants! But in a quiet location. Friendly owners who were happy to give recomendations and help us make the most out of our stay! Would highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay on an unforgettable holiday!

We spent our last six holidays in Aphrodite Studios on Milos island in Greece, always in September, and never regret. Nice people, great accommodation, good value,.... in a peaceful tranquil island.
Good advice - this place has a boomerang effect - you have to go back!!! 

The only bad experience i had in this hotel was the check-in. Apparently this is a family business, and when we arrived (even after informing them about our check-in time), we couldn't find anyone responsible person. We called all the numbers we found, and finally one answered in Greek with an aggressive attitude. I tried to communicate with him in English, but it was impossible. We waited around 40 minutes for our check-in. After that it was amazing. We booked the room with sea view with a reasonable price. It was smaller than it shows in the photos, but we had our private balcony and the room was perfectly clean. You can find some snacks for breakfast in the room for free, there is a toaster, minibar, kettle, greek coffee maker in the room which allows you to enjoy the morning in your balcony. (P.S. Don't leave anything in the balcony when you are not there, it is very windy and i lost my towel to the wind)
We extended our stay but our room was not available anymore, so we had to move to a room downstairs with no sea view. It was big and comfortable, but stinks with damp if you dont open the windows, and your clothes will suck the smell. Besides that, it was great.
I definitely recommend Aphrodite who wants to stay close to the center and yet it is very peaceful with the goats in their garden, goats and sheep families in the back yard.
Milos is an amazing destination for single travellers, families or couples. I can not think of anyone that wouldn't enjoy a week in Milos.

Apartments in a relaxed location, 10 min walk from the centre. So, no bad.
Clean apartments with a complete kitchen and free breakfast based on toast, butter, coffee, etc. 
Also a fresh bottle of water inside the fridge for free which is really appreciated.
Only «but» is the size of the shower and the fact that water goes all around the toilette.
Personal really nice and helpful. They kept our suitcases after check out until we took the ferry

Beautiful stay in Adamamas

Excellent Milos and excellent Aphrodite Studios

Great location, great hotel, great island

Good place with more than reasonable price

Stayed for 4 nights at the end of June. Location wise the apartments are a 10/15 minute walk from the port where there are many restaurants and bars.

The apartments are clean and reasonably well equipped. There would be a lovely view down to the port except for a wall that has been built in front of the apartments. A simple breakfast is provided and refreshed each day in your room.

We felt that the owners/managers were not very visible. The transfer that we had arranged from the port did not materialise due to an email mix up somewhere between our booking agent and the apartments. They did sort this out for us by sending a taxi (12 Euros) eventually, but that was the only time we were engaged by them during the whole of our stay. We could hear them though as the family live above the apartments. We were perhaps unlucky to be directly underneath being woken up early most mornings by activity and dogs barking.

Feel that there was some improvements to be made in customer care. The most remote management that we experienced in our 3 week trip in 7 locations.

Room for improvement

We arrived from Sifnos to the Aphrodite Studios today.  I can honestly say it was the worst place I’ve ever stayed.
The room smelt of damp and the toilet didn’t flush.  (Room 10) It didn’t even look clean.
There was ants on the floor.  It’s really small and the shower is impossible to stand in as the tray is tiny.
There are cats and kittens everywhere.
Just terrible, awful.
I just burst into tears and we left.  Luckily we have managed to book into a room for a night at the family run Hotel Rigas - life savers indeed and wow beautiful, clean hotel.
