A Lovely Holiday Refuge on Meganisi

We were lucky to have spent 4 weeks at Hotel Meganisi in June-July, we had not been for a while but as normal it was still the same as it always was,perfect. George and the family take great pride in creating a friendly atmosphere, and the food at the hotel is some of the best on the island. We stayed in the superior rooms on the side of the main hotel and as much as we loved the rooms in the main hotel it was lovely to have the extra space and veranda. The rooms are cleaned daily and are left spotless. Breakfast is as always fantastic, there is so much choice and believe me you will not leave hungry. I have to say a big shout out to Makis and Fani who tirelessly wait on you all with a smile on their face and also Vaggelis who picks you up and drops you off in the bus wether you arriving or leaving or just going to the beach, a perfect gentleman. We were a bit dubious that 4 weeks would be to long but at the end we did not want to go home, which says a lot about the hotel. It will not be to long before we will be back and and meet up with our Greek friends. Thank you George and all the team for making our home from home.
