Staying there makes you feel like you’re out of this world!

Just visit this place !

This is our second time and we have promised to go at least once a year. This is not a stay, it is a wholistic experience. The houses are perfectly curated, with deep knowledge of the North American culture and genuine respect for it's era's lifestyle. 

I can talk for ever for this resort. Every single detail is fine. The houses are all amazing. There is no right or wrong choice here. The breakfast experience is fab either in villa or in the restaurant. The stay is a time travel to the American North and the feelings deriving are unique. The bonfires by the porch are my favourite highlight. Take a blue tooth speaker, play New Orleans jazz and bring your finest whiskey (I don't drink burbon).

Travelling as couples or families, this is a lifetime experience. Maybe one of my happiest places so far.

The only thing that requires improving, is that some accommodations funny have a shaded porch and this is a problem of it rains, as sitting by the outdoor fire is a must!

What to say… Everything is so nice and beautiful here. The people, the houses, the farm and the animals. So nice. I wish i could stay for ever. My family enjoys so much inside Vasilikia farm with the animals and the walks inside. The design of the farm is amazing. Congratulations 🎈

The best Farm in Greece

We might be oldies [70+], Vasilikia is definitely paradise for younger folks and kids but we had an amazing time.  Irini and the team are fantastic, just so welcoming, helpful and friendly.  Nothing was too much trouble for them.  Also they were very careful of maintaining Covid protocol. The weather was pretty cold, lots of snow on our last day, but it was no problem at all.  The cabin was warm, the  team dug us out of our hut and helped getting the cars safely out etc.  The breakfast is excellent, great foodie places nearby, wonderful walks in the pristine forest, so all in all it was a lovely break from city life.  The only issue some had was with there being no door to the bathroom and loo!! But that's an oldie thing.  Can't wait to see my kids and grandchildren going there.  They will love it and we would love to go back too.

Great getaway

When my wife suggested we visit an American farm type lodge, I was convinced that this is gonna be another cheesy replica. When I saw the images in the website, I realised that these guys are the real thing.

What can I say? They have true knowledge, every corner in their lodges is expertly curated, the vibe is laid back and within minutes this place travels you years back to the other end of the Atlantic. This is a living museum to the American heritage. It should be awarded by the American Embassy, as I doubt that anything like this even exists in the States.

The accommodation is premium and pricing for what this place offers is real value for money. Families spending quality time, couples falling in love and groups of friends enjoying the outdoor fireplaces over the tunes of country music, sipping their bourbon. This is gonna be my retreat for the years to follow. We just checked out and we are already checking dates for our next visit. I recommend this place to anyone bored of the usual, to those experiential travellers that want to add more experiences in their arsenal, to digital nomads and to people just seeking a proper retreat. Definitely one of the most extraordinary places that I have visited.

To be objective, yes we did have some mishaps. Our kitchen heating stopped working, the main entrance got stuck and the horse farm workers forgot the stable lights on, resulting to some stressed animals being noisy. The staff has reacted rapidly though and has fixed everything in no time. It's not easy to run a farm with numerous spread out lodges and we acknowledge this. Things do happen in hotels, it's how reactive the staff is when things go wrong and in this case the staff is amazing and can't do more to help. I can write and write and write about our experience in Vasilikia, but I think I will leave it to the rest of you to make your own story.

Tip: use the outdoor fire places, bring a bottle of premium whisky (I don't like bourbon), search for the right playlists in Spotify and dive deep in the experience. This place is a canvas, it is not a hotel.

A true experience

This unique retreat is perched high in the mountains about 2 hrs north of Athens, refreshed by numerous streams and surrounded by evergreens.  It is a perfect spot for families with children, and provided us a break from the typical resort/hotel experience.   We stayed in the Country House, which was very comfortably furnished with whimsical touches, a fully equipped kitchen, porches overlooking the countryside, and a fireplace. Other cabins on the property looked equally appealing. Breakfast was delicious and abundant, including freshly baked bread, eggs cooked to order and laid by hens who greeted us each morning, fruit, and yogurt with local honey.  Our nephew loved exploring the property and visiting with the horses, geese, ducks, rabbits, and other animals, who were obviously well taken care of.  Satellite TV and WiFi took care of those of us who wanted to stay connected, but the real benefit was the opportunity to escape for awhile into surroundings close to nature.

A truly delightful experience!

A very nice farm with separate wooden houses that are perfectly decorated and maintained. The big surprise in this settlement is the AIRSTREAM travel trailer that i located in one of the highest points in the farm offering a different experience to the visitors.  Imported from the United States and maintained be Mr. Stavros to the finest detail, it offered us a magical weekend. I strongly suggest it for travelers that would like to experience this type of vacation. 

The breakfast that is served is great and many of the offered products are organic and locally produced in the farm.

Dream weekend in the countryside

My husband and i were travelling around this region and decided to extend our stay by one night which is how we came to have the amazing good fortune to find this complete gem of a place. Nowhere you have stayed will be like this. Stavros, the owner has created an unbelievably beautiful and exciting place here. One night is no way enough. I was really sad to leave and it was by far and away the hightlight of our really good trip. 
Where to start? It is within a walled area. The area is pretty vast and has dotted over it numerous different types of fabulous accommodation. There are traditional style mountain cottages but there are also places like the retro caravan and the 'Long Island beach house'. i would want to go back and try them all! This guy's attention to detail is frankly awe inspiring. He has a great way with colour and design. No expense has been spared to make this accommodation comfortable, practical but above all beautiful. 
He has nature all around too. There are goats, hens, cats, birdlife, a donkey. One is free to wander and take in this gorgeous scenery and the peace and tranquility of the place. Breakfast was served in a log cabin by his very lovely staff. Fresh eggs, fresh juice, fresh bread, and so much more. Outside the hens and cat wait patiently for some scraps! This place really made my heart glad!
P.S. I can't forget to mention that the kitchen is really well equipped and has a Smeg fridge and a decent espresso machine.

Can i give more than 5 stars?

We usually do seaside summer holidays but this year decided on being different and running for the mountains of Iti !  And we are over the moon about it!  Beautiful farm residence and gorgeous landscape!! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend 5 days with our 3 yr old and 7yr old.  Ducks, chickens, horse, donkey, goats, geese... all on the premises kept the kids entertained for hours !   We lodged in an original country style wooden cabin with fully equipped kitchen and stunning deck for outdoor relaxing and play.  
Green as far as the eye can see during this time of year and as far as I know, this place is snowed in during the winter ❄️ for those that like the ski slopes ⛷ 
Overall, Stavros and his team went out of their way to make sure our stay with the kids was unforgettable.  He was also very helpful in offering suggestions on day trips because  there is loads to do in the area, specially the magical Parkaki forest Park with unique and entertaining ‘games’ along a trail in the forest for all ages!!!  The forest will lure you in and put a spell on you forever!  
I am sooooo glad we did mountain / forest holidays this year!!!

So much more than expected 🌟🌟🌟

No words, we were 5 people, including two couples and a 12 year-old, we rented the Country house which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The furniture, amenities, view is amazing. The breakfast great. The price on the higher level....
