We have been to Chania town a few times and like to stay in different areas. This was a great spot with a fantastic view of the marina and the beach. The beach was literally a couple of minutes walk and there were plenty of places to eat and drink within metres. We particularly enjoyed Akrogiali, Manos for lunch and dinner and Woodstock for breakfast.  It was also only a short 10 minute walk right into the historic centre with so many more great bars and restaurants including our favourites  Moutoupaki, Tamam, Faka and to finish off in the jazz bar Fargotto. The room was very clean and had everything you needed for a weeks break and was very reasonably priced. The staff are so kind and friendly. Book directly with the host Mr. Fotis for the best deals. I would recommend!

Good spot with great view.

Fabulous hotel with excellent service and a fantastic owner! 5-10 min walk from tourists area. We came for our Honeymoon, and even though there was a tiny issue with our room (the hotel was overbooked), the owner found a solution and made our stay great! Rooms are excellent, super clean, spacious and full of amenities like in a 4-5 star hotel. We will come back for sure and def our recommendation for others. Regards to the stuff and to the big boss! AMAZING PLACE!

I stayed here for 12 days with 2 domestic staff. The location could not be better, with a 3 minutes walk to the beach and lovely beach-side restaurants, and a leisurely 8 minutes walk to the old town. Gianna, who is the boss was very helpful and made sure we were looked after. She is assisted by her trainee manager, Fotis, who made us very welcome.  Even though he is still learning to be an hotel manager, he went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are cleaned every day to a high standard, Toiletries bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion are replaced daily, and with air-con, a balcony, and a kitchenette provided, what more could you want. I highly recommend you stay here if you want the best hotel in Chania.

Best location in Chania

The view is amazing and the host is great. If you have any question just ask him. The terrace is separated by a very thin wall so you can hear your neighbors but i still believe that it is worth it for that view

Unbelieveble view and hospitality

We were guests of Mr. Fotis for 10 days in June 2021. We had rooms 7 & 10 both with seaview. Mr. Fotis is a very nice and welcome host,making us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are nice , and located at 5 minutes walking to the beach.Plenty of places to eat and just a 15 minutes walk to the Chania Old Town. We highly recommend this place!!!!!

This really is a wonderful place to stay! A special mention must go to Mr Fotis who made us feel very welcome and really went that extra mile to make sure we had a fantastic holiday!
The location is excellent, just across the road from the pretty harbour of Nea Chora, 10-15 mins stroll to the Old Town/Port, 5 mins to the beach and very close to some of the best restaurants we tried during our holiday.
We had a lovely room facing the rear of the property which was quiet and cool. The room was very clean and well equipped, Housekeeping was everyday and of a very high standard. We loved the personal touches too - welcome gifts on arrival of wine, water, juice and cake, fluffy robes, slippers and complimentary toiletries too.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and making our holiday perfect!

Wonderful place to stay!

Excellent location - 10 walk from Chania harbour - however this hotel is in a great location. Directly across the road from the fishing boat harbour, 100 yards from the beach and supermarket, surrounded by lovely tavernas and relatively easy to park.
Must ask for one of the sea view rooms - as the view is lovely.
The owner Mr Fotis and his staff extremely pleasant and very helpful. The room (at the front with sea view) was spacious, well equipped, extremely clean even down to slippers and dressing gowns. We had a very nice welcome pack - which was a pleasant surprise - with a daily change of towels and a regular linen change.
If you want a small family run hotel, close to the centre of Chania but in a quiet area with plenty of amenities then this should fit the bill.

Warm welcome in a perfect location

we have stayed at Arocaria for 5 nights and we enjoyed everything. The room was quite large and comfortable. On the outside the building is a lot poorer than inside. The place is just like a 3 star - hotel, with nice welcoming treats (wine, juice, water and sweets), very clean, a really large and modern bathroom, a large double bed, nice looking furniture and the stunning sea view from the balcony.  A quiet place in a busy town, 10-15 mins nice street walk  to the heart of the old town of Chania and 2 minutes walk to all the good restaurants and 150 m to the local beach. we loved it!

very good stay

Brilliant apartment with super views over Nea Chora's sand beach, complementry dressing gown and slippers which is a very nice touch.
Mr Fotis and Mrs Dominica are loverly and make you feel very welcome. 
Great fish taverna's on the door step with a 10 minute walk into Chania old town with lot's to see and do and a gret vibe for all ages. 
Very good value hotel, you will not regret it.
