Kris Mari

My best friend and I just got back from a week at the Kris Mari and it was just the best, funniest and most amazing holiday we have been on! Before we left we had read several reviews of the hotel that had not been very complimentary so we were a bit xx apprehensive on what to expect! How wrong were those reviews!! On arrival we were greeted by Rena who was so helpful in checking us in and helping us throughout our stay as well as her husband Minas who was so kind and helpful they both made us feel at home and part of their extended family. Vaggelis from the pool bar was an absolute blast and nothing was too much trouble and both him and his colleague Rafael kept us suitably entertained throughout the day with Pina Colada’s made with banana ice cream that were extremely exceptional!! Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They both made our holiday even more enjoyable and are a credit to the Kris Mari. The food at the Kris Mari- Alma restaurant was also outstanding we ate there all but one evening and every meal was delicious, very flavoursome and good size portions! Compliments to the chef! Stauroula special snacks lady was awesome a happy greeting from her every morning at breakfast and looked after us like family was very heart warming. The location of the hotel is perfect literally a 5min walk to the beach and more bars and restaurants. Town and supermarkets were just a little further up the road. The rooms are basic but if your just using it as a base to sleep which is all you really need in a place like this it is perfect and contains what is needed a little fridge, very comfy beds and walk in showers with refreshing waterfall shower head. All I can say as two women on their own we were made to feel so safe and welcomed that we can’t wait to go back later this year. 💖🏖️💖
